How do I go about it?
Hello friends,
I picked up a used CBr250R 2 days back. It had done around 1600 kms on the odo.It was a god deal altogether. I have a few queries to the experienced guys out here.
When i browsed through the threads before picking up the bike a few of them were facing some "shims" noise from the engine. I guess i have that issue too. The bike is 5 months old and the 1st free service is done. Now how do i go about it?
Does this thing come under warranty?
i spoke to an ASS mechanic today. He told me its not covered under warranty and the company has directed them to replace them in the 1st service or upto 1000kms.How do i go about this?? i stay in bangalore.

anyone tried the KTM's tires?

I think Cbr has 140/70 in 17. So would it match?? Also i am sure there would be a drop in performance and efficiency if we go in for a fatter rubber. infact i felt the cbr's rear tyre is bigger than it should have been.
I was thinking of replacing the rear tyre to the one that is available in r15 v2.
profile is 130/70 in 17.
would that be alright? Since its a softer compound and offers greater grip and balance.
@ranjith
I also observe u have modified the rear fender of your bike. I was thinking of a fender eliminator. Can i get better Pictures of the modified rear fender?

Could come in handy for DIY
Also mentions specific torque to be applied on the wheel nuts
WARNING: Do it at ur own risk i.e., if you know what ur doing or have any experience in this field, or else leave it to ur mech.

Reflective Rim Tape
Hey, I've also got the tri-color and I'm using 3M reflective tapes. Trust me they are amazing and in the night, they are like the tron bikes!! It is white and when you put it on the rim, it will look as if nothing is stuck on it but at night it's a bombOriginally posted by theironhorse99 View Posthi,
