  • Nope; Idle is about 1500 +/- 1000 RPM is what manual says. So, ideally, DO NOT start the bike & run immediately. Any 4joke requires lubing all the internal parts of the engine. So give it sometime. I'd ideally give about a minute & was shocked to see manual stating about 3 minutes.

Thnx for the advice aargee.Today it was fine in morning @1500 rpm.i am also heating up the engine for 2 minutes.

It should ideally be smooth from day one. But just give sometime before visiting the ASC

Sure,i would drive for some time and if still problem persist, i would visit the ASC

P.S. bdw wat is full form of ASC??? u know bit embarrassing but...
Congrats bro for your new ride. I have read on the forums that RPM for CBR is 1500, Fuel injection bikes / engines tend to rev faster when cold but settle down after reaching running temp.

How frequently or occasionally? Must be the oil. How many Kms over & have you changed the oil? If you've completed nearly 500 Kms, then go for an oil change even if you've to pay for the labor (just Rs 35) & the oil cost + oil filter (Rs 260 MRP). Oil should cost about Rs 300 for 1.5 lts. Ideally...
For a new engine 1.8 lts
Oil change with the oil filter - 1.5 lts
Oil change without the oil filter - 1.4 lts
Not too frequently. Maye it is the oil. Did 400kms now... Will go in for an early service (550-600 kms)

If I attend the Chennai's camp, I'll certainly inquire about Hyd. Or may be Hyd is over, just that the dealer might've called people who could only give positive responses.
        Thanks mate.

Yes. all other parts are there. May be they will update it soon.
Got my Tinted windscreen from TYGA today. Total cost including the customs duty which i gave is around 3300Rs/-. What to do these F***ING Honda don't have spares. Really fed up of calling the dealer every now and then. They said no response from the Honda. They even send a mail to Honda (HO) stating my bike is now in SVC not able to ride. Even though no response.

Its way too expensive, the frame sliders they charge 12K i think.

                    • Guys got a call from Honda about a complaint which I had raised against my delear before my bike delivery and also asked if I am facing any issue.
Then I inquired about the camps going on around bangalore, He gave me a contact person from bangalore for camp details and for any issue if I face in future. Unfortunately i cannot attend the camp since i'll be out of town till wednesday.

when i was upto buying these things,i had settled down for Optimum Opticlean (choose it over ONR because Mr Shyam (automall owner) said it was a more advanced formula and performed better) + Mother's Synwax (became a big fan of synwax after i saw a practical video of it in youtube..the shine...whooaa!!!) +collinite 845 (i read at many places that a coat of natural carnauba wax over synthetic wax gives the best of both synwax and natural wax!!

But Mr shyam suggested me Mother's reflection Top Coat over Collinite 845 which would do the job of a natural carnauba wax + protect the synthetic wax under it which would in turn increase the longetivity of the synwax!!

After spraying and wiping up my black CB baby with Opticlean i was horrified to see that the gloss from the paint had totally disappeared!!!
started to sweat it out but after 10 min,i saw the gloss was back with double the shine!!

Next,Synwax..dries up to a haze pretty quickly and after wiping if off, and running your finger on the surface,u can actually "feel" a lamination kind of effect on the paint surface..and the shine? OUT OF THIS WORLD!!! (u no longer need RVM to check up hairstyle cause u can use the paint surface to see ur face!!)

Top Coat...ummm..for the 999/- rs i paid, i dont think its upto the mark..still somehow, i did notice a warmth in colour as if the bike had been recently painted and properly washed..

SO to RG n others who had asked me to post results for synwax,i'd say its definitely a charmer (although em yet to try the collinite 845 for the comparision purpose )

                              A silly question:

how do u guys apply the wax btw? MF cloth??
well, i use MF cloth but it seems that whatever amount of wax i squeeze onto the cloth, nearly 80% is absorbed by the cloth and only 20% is applied onto the paint surface!!!wat a waste!! mEh!

Mate..RG products for our Ceebers have been posted here long back (by DK bro i think)

but as u can see, the crash bobbins require drilling holes in the fairings which is not acceptable by quite many of us!

the other products are also seem to be very costly as of now..
