/sigh, you remember the starting days of ownership, when we all were thinking to file the case against Honda for quality issue, but then we all settled. Find a way to get task done(you are already expert in that, in case any part available in NCR region, we can send if possible).

As for Jackets: They will sell on very high price, I have seen their price list for CBR riding gears (@ Noida Service center, saw the email which Honda sent to Dealers to start booking for riding gears),
Price list: Jacket (~7k), Pant(~7K) & Glove (~4-5k), lets see if they changed anything in price, parts are less expansive , they should sell gear also on low prices.

I forgot to post what i wanted, was having lot of urge to ask to calm down my urge.

After completing my small tour, i went to Service center for 2nd Service, was a working day so had to leave to office, leaving the bike at service center with following task to be done:
1. Open complete fairing and readjust, as i have a crack on it and it got loosen on offroading of ~40kms of touring.
2. Inspection of brake pads (i was afraid after seeing the case of DK & Curt)
3. Chain clean & lube, electric switch replace/repair(headlight one)
4. Headlight adjustment, as one side's little bit ahead post that accident.
5. No need to change the Engine Oil, as i got it changed just 700Kms ago to Honda 10w30 FS.
I asked him to take a test drive, he took and told me that it's not functioning properly as it should and will fix.

Came back, picked the bike, then i inspected what was done.
1. He changed the Engine Oil, even when i didn't want
2. Said brake pads will work more, bring it at around ~8k
3. Fairing readjusted, can't adjust Headlight, as it's nonadjustable and attached with fairing cover.
4. lubed the chain.

When i took the bike on road after service, i was able to feel the complete power of the Machine, it was like mind giving the commands to hands,feet and they obliged. I dunno what the hack he done but was literally feeling very good with the response of my engine.

then i rode it for more ~240Kms and then it came back on the same old scenario, and i am missing that prompt response from the engine now.

Aargee/PSR Ji: Requesting your guidance before I snatch my head's hairs and jump on mechanic's head. Is it because of Engine Oil ( I don't think, because i had it changed around 800kms ago before service and that time engine was not as smooth and prompt as was after 2nd service) or some wire adjustment, or etc etc

Will you dare to do this kind of stuff with your CBR? It looks like a Bike Bomb(inspired from Human Bomb) to me instead of a modified and rich quality motorcycle.

All parts are shipped to the country from Gurgaon ; they claim not having the parts, either I've to start hunting for AM parts OR keep waiting indefinitely!!! I guess we don't have choice!!!

+1; it will only be a surprise if HMSI sells anything less than standard market price.

BTW, what was being charged for the engine oil change? Did you mention in the JC that the engine oil should NOT be changed while handing over your motorcycle?

You mean vibrations? If that were the case, I assume the ASC might've put a rubber washer in the place where the fairing was cracked & after riding for few more Kms, it might've given up or yielded to vibes.

erm whatever it is.. not a cbr for sure.. anyways would recommend you to share your enthusiasm and posts on a separate thread. This thread is strictly for CBR ownership experiences and not pulsar modified with a horse engine cover or whatever one may call it. really appreciate your enthusiasm with the bike and pics but would request you to do the above for the same.

Finally managed to get 0-100 under 8 secs...7.72 on the stopwatch to be precise.

With these antics, no-wonder my bike seldom gives me above 25 kmpl!

Ah, not on the JC, i told specifically the CBR mechanic while detailing about problems.
Charged me Rs. 742.9 for Engine Oil.



Not vibration actually, it was throttle/engine response, now what i suspect is that he must have tighten the throttle wire, which now got loosen after ~250kms.
