Have you enquired with Shiva's ASC? I'm asking this because they were supposed to get stocks of spares this weekend.

Oil filter is available in TODI.. one of my friend who got his bike from Shiva got it replaced there yesterday only... As far as i know for the past one month, in Shiva ASC they are giving the same reply(spares will arrive this week) whenever asked..

Yes, yesterday I went there by myself, according to them not a single oil filter in kolkata till now,They now maintain a record of those customer who didn't get oil filter changed in their 1st Service.

Thanks for the info, then I'll try by myself in Tuesday. According to Shiva none of ASC get filter until Auto Craft receive the stock who is the main stockiest in Kolkata. They also claim Todi & Aradhona don't have either.

and u cudent set milage in cbr like karizma r or pulser. bec it has sensor for it so u cant do anything if you getting low milage.

Got my bike on Oct 8th and its been 220kms (thanks to my engg schedule )
So far so good.
Never took it past 5k rpm.
Love the pick up
Engine grunt good past 4k
No rust problem so far even though i havent cleaned the bike in 8 days despite heavy rain.
Footrest rubber seems strong enough

Cons:
False Neutrals(one too many times)
Hard gear shifts
A little bit of vibrations in the fairings

Rider error: Stalled it almost 20times in 8 days
Hate myself for it.
The holy Nimbu with a metal wire created quite some tiny not so deep scratches on the front mudguard. Will the ASC do something about it?

Query: Is filling Nitrogen in the tyres a good idea? If so how many days would it last if i can average about 200kms a week?

today visited my friend's honda showroom.....the details of honda cbr accessories are as under....
honda cbr racing jacket in three sizes..34,42,44...........rs 8450
honda cbr racing pant in three sizes 34,42,44..............rs 8500
honda cbr racing gloves in two sizes l,xl......................rs 2750
honda cbr ls2 helmet with tinted visor l,xl.....................rs 3800
this was all i could manage.....in pics the pants ans jacket were looking good....but i think they are much expensive than other brands....

Hi,

Today I found small drop of OIL in the garage floor just below the engine where the bike parked.

So when I closely inspect lower portion of the engine there is hardly anything visible and there are 3 pipe and thought may be something extra drain out from there, but once I wrap my finger around the 'Oil Drain Bolt' I got some black dirt substance and a fresh ring of Engine Oil.

1. Is it normal ? Can anyone confirm they got into similar situation ?
2. I don't think the mech @ ASC didn't properly tight the bolt. Is it ?

After the first service,couple of days later I first encounter the OIL drop in the floor but thought,may be it come from drive chain or foot peg coz the mech at the SVC lubed everything in the bike....and literally there are some oil drop from the bike in other portion (like drive chain,rider foot pegs and pillion foot pegs) of the floor, but now all those portion of the bike quite dry which lubed heavily at 1st service.

Service History:-
1st Service done & Oil Change 565km

Now :-
972 Km in ODO.

There is No oil drop before the 1st service or first 550km.

Please experts let me know, what to do ?

Clean there using diesel or kerosene and check once more and make sure about it.

This is not normal. By this time the engine oil level must have been dropped. Do no delay,visit the svc asap and ask the mechanic to check the oil filter. The metal gasket must have suffered some misalignment or the oil filter must not have been fitted properly. I am kind of sure this would solve the issue.

Will visit SVC for sure ASAP, but the OIL leaking from the Engine OIL Draining Bolt and not from the Oil Filter portion and the question about fitment of the filter, there is nothing to worry cuz it never changed/touched due to lack of spares, So it is factory fitted unit.

Once the engine used,then there the OIL around that bolt,else none.

Will do that and let see......Hope everything will be ok.


P.S:-
I'm worried because in my home there is a HH 100CC as the backup bike which have the same situation only after 10 years 55k ODO, and the reason of so destroyed thread of the engine oil draining socket/hole due to its age/usage.
