i am having problem in my cbr its not getting start by self when i press self it make sound tik tik tik and lite goes dim. horn working fine headlight also working fine.
faced it 2nd time it starts like normal at home but after that were ever is switch it of and then when i try to start the bike it wont start by self.
both time i have managed to start it by pushing and going to ASC 2marrow.

i had faced the same issue in my ZMR. some mechanics i went to said - battery issue, replace the battery. some folks on forums said - check the charging circuit, regulator rectifier, etc. so, i suppose you can do this:
get the battery fully charged. plonk it into your bike. see how much time passes before you see the same problem (not starting up) again. if it happens within a day, your battery is either very dead or not charging. get the electricals checked.Comment

today my TITAN completed 4 months and 12000 kms, out of which 9300 kms were covered in the first 16 days, really a tough life it has with me......it shows

Last evening, I went for a headlight check ride. About 40 kms return trip on the Rajkot - Jamnagar highway.
I confirmed what I had suspected for long - the power, reach and spread of the high beam is completely inadequate for high speed riding on the highway where there are no streetlights . I tried adjusting the beam for elevation and depression but the bulb just does not have the raw power to light up the road ahead in a way that would make 80 kmph+ riding FEEL safe.
In commuter riding within the city, it is more than enough but clearly not designed for the highway.
Can any of us help me here? The best solution would be a simple replacement type arrangement. I will NOT do any cutting etc of the mounting plate and what not.Comment
