    That's a semi faired there...

I have NVR EVER faced high speed instability & i have done 138kmph many times using the same trick...BUT one disadvantage though, once you take up tat crouch position you cant see the rear view mirrors and you need to keep your lane and never think of changing it...Try it and let me know...if it works for u...
Man....You are awesome...Looks like you're the first one to Wind/Tunnel test the Duke i guess...

P.S. Jokes apart, do you guys realise that it's a street fighter naked?

Great, so, do you expect the Aerodynamics of faired bikes on Naked ones?

of course no dude but then u need to have some sort of stability at its top speed..

U can't just launch a bike with a top speed of 138 kmph and don't give stability to it, can u?

138 Kmph? Ok, where is the figure taken from? If it's KTM quoted, why can't it be a Test bench figure taken by people sitting inside a comfortably cooled AC room with all the optimum temperature figures in control to hit the benchmark figure?

If it's vouched by someone here, why can't it be a down hill? Ever seen videos of R15 V1.0 doing 159's & 160's in Youtube??

Very True that my friend's dual discs in his duke is braking hard. Guess why? It can't fly like your duke does like a Rolls Royce Phantom with all the Aerodynamics attached invisibly. Over & out.

                • I had a puncher in my rear tyre on sunday. I found a big nail bent at right angles with one side piercing the tyre. I repaired the puncture that day only by local guy. He repaired the puncture well. But now not able to maintain the air pressure. The air leaks fully in one night.

Thinking of visiting the SVC. Any other suggestions? Dont want the rear tyre to be removed by local guy to check for leaks anywhere else.

Did i ever mention to fit a windscreen?? or get fairing done lik tat of a karizma from a local workshop??... I asked him to change his riding position, becs it has an upright sitting postion one will b restricting the wind blast thereby effecting the speed of the bike which is also valid on any other bike (of course not sure abt ur dual disc 200)

I never mention anythin about the BIKE AERODYNAMICS...dont no wat the fuss is about...

                      • Appreciate your never ending love towards your Duke by continuous posts. Would really appreciate if you could use the "Multi Quote" Option pls.

P.S. Here's how to do it: If you want to post replies to multiple posts you can select them by clicking the multi quote button . This button will change to indicate that you've selected it. Clicking post reply will then bring you to the full editor with all the posts quoted. As taken from Here

Thank you for adding immense value to the Duke ownership thread by the above comments.
We cannot handle this much value-add at once. Kindly come to a consensus over PMs and give us the final result (if relevant).

Could be something specific to your bike. (Wheel alignment is something I can think off)
Point is that at those speeds any small imperfection is amplified.
Sitting upright may make you go a bit slower but should not cause wobbling (all else being perfect).

How about balancing issues in the rear rim? Wouldn't it be good to have a check on that too?

There could be multiple punctures, get someone to check it again. if it takes a whole night to leak then it could be a slow puncture. what about the valve? has it been checked? The manual suggests visiting an MRF store.

The wobbling is happening on high speeds only i.e. 125kmph plus.

Wouldn't alignment issue also affect the ride at slower speeds.

Anyways i'll be going to KTM SC tomorrow to check that and other couple of issues out.. Will post about it tomorrow..

                                Thanks for the help..
