Welcome to the digital world of biking. and you have to live with it..Originally posted by Ri$hi View PostThe console seems to be playing tricks. The last time when I went to refuel, after doing a tankful instead of showing full bars it was showing low fuel warning. I turned off the ignition and turned it on and it started working fine. Also at one point of time while riding at 50km, the rpm was showing only 3k or 3.5k and suddenly it bounced back to normal. This morning before I started the fuel gauge was showing only two bars above reserve and in few secs it was displaying four bars.sigpicRelationships change, evolve, and it goes deep.

Not even concerned about pillions...................
The Duke 200 is one hell of an implying bike.............offers a seat only to those, who can sit very close to the rider - if not then they don't deserve a ride.

Duke 200 is a lifestyle motorcycle, not an autorickshaw where u can seat in N-number of passengers if u want.
A small pillion seat is also a warning mark for some clumsy people who stands by the road in hope to save some transport money and stops the biker for a free ride.
So finally Duke200's pillion seat is only for people who are family members, friends and are close to the heart.
................It is because no matter how small or uncomfortable the seat maybe, they wud adjust to it simply becoz they love the rider\owner of the vehicle and respects his choice.
Enough of pillion seating.

so next time u see a stranger looking for a ride, tell him "There is no seat for his size"

The pressure in both of my Duke's tyres get reduced by 2 PSI overnight after filling !!!!!
Could it be a puncture but I seriously doubt it as both the wheels seem to have this problem..!!!
Suggest me with solutions pleaseLast edited by joel_sherly; 08-08-2012, 01:35 PM.

Its the problem with the wheels. Could be with the rims as it is too much of a coincidence that both the tyes are punctured at the same time. Not that it can't a coincidence that both the rims are screwed up too.Originally posted by joel_sherly View PostThe pressure in both of my Duke's tyres get reduced by 2 PSI overnight after filling !!!!!

Hmm. Do you think Ninja's pillion seat was any better than the Duke?Originally posted by extremerocker00 View PostRecently sold off Kawasaki Ninja 250R. Now I am keeping an eye on the new ones so that I can choose one to buy. This time, for a change I dont want a faired bike.
At least we have bars for the pillion to hold on the Duke.
Ninja has a belt on the rear seat which one has to hold with his hands below the groins.
I respect the fact that you have your opinions but there is a way to put it forward. You cannot brag on this or any other thread about any product in the language you do.
There are lot of non-owners in this thread but they are here to share their views and get knowledge of the bike and not for any cyber-war.

2 psi is too minute to come to a conclusion.Originally posted by joel_sherly View PostThe pressure in both of my Duke's tyres get reduced by 2 PSI overnight after filling !!!!!
It could be your instruments precision or the air leaked during the successive measurements. Give it 4 days see any proportionate drop in pressure.

Yes, although the rear seat of Ninja looked like it would cause discomfort/scare to the pillion rider, it actually didnt. It was bigger than it appeared from the first look of it. Thus, it was anyway better than that of the Duke 200.Originally posted by devil_rider View PostHmm. Do you think Ninja's pillion seat was any better than the Duke?

Since this thread isnt about comparisons, I wouldnt like to carry it on.
Regarding respect... of course I am giving a lot of respect to the fellow riders here.
. If you have noticed carefully, I always point out things about the bikes and not the riders. Some riders get sentimental (not surprisingly) on it and start writing not so respectful things about me.
These forums are about writing things about the bikes and their parts and not on people. I am following the norms, but some people arent.
