Also check your rear shock rear mud guard holder (that U shaped metal rod that holds the plastic mudguard) is secured firmly and not loose.

I went to SVC, but that guy said it is chain guard which is making sound in bumpy roads. He did not check as i was in hurry.

If you feel like a slapping sound or scratching kinda sound, then perhaps yes, chain slapping the chain guard shouldn't be ruled out. Post 2015 bikes have their chain guards heightened due to the same, and since yours is a 2016, check your chain sliders and mud guard. Why not remove the chain guard, ride the bike for a couple of days and see how it fares. That should give you an idea.

Once upon a time, a guy asked a girl 'Will you marry me?'
      The girl said, 'NO!'

And the guy lived happily ever after and rode motorcycles and watched sport on a big screen TV, went fishing and surfing, and played golf a lot, and drank beer and scotch and had tons of money in the bank and left the toilet seat up and farted whenever he wanted.

My friend had the same problem with his duke 200 its the chain only.....the service guy here tightened the chain and everything became alright and yups he said that the loose chain was hitting the chain guard in the pothholes it sounded very weird and when we used to release the clutch and accelerate the same noise came..so i suggest you that you should check the chain...😄

Absolutely no problem. Just be sure to use the same grade oil 20w50.

Should be ok for a couple 1000km drain interval. If you are looking to save some money, why not get the 5100.
If availability is an issue, you could go ahead with the dtsi oil.
KTM though recommends using a fully synthetic oil and I am really not sure how 'FS' is the bajaj oil! There are other reputed brands like valvoline, castrol that sell oil in the w50 grade (semi synth/synth) and i'd prefer them over the dtsi oil.

Are those other brands recommend by ktm? I can't find any shops here selling motul 7100 at my place.

Not 'recommended' by brand name, but using another brand in the right grade shouldn't be a problem..
You can easily get the 7100,5100 online on Amazon.. watch out for deals and you could easily pick up the 7100 for Rs.600 (vs the mrp of 825)! I myself have been saving significantly by picking up the oil from Amazon for the past year.

Nice. Glad to see them in a new box instead of those plastic pouches they offered earlier. 626 for quality.

626!!! iirc used to cost around 300 bucks earlier. Glad I bought one earlier and kept it as a spare. That's a massive bump in price.. I hope other spares are not heading in that direction!
The earlier one used to come in a white box, with the sticker(price part no etc..)

Was it the black one (the ones that come on the rc) or the silver one (the one on the duke) that you got?

If I'm not wrong, ~375 bucks was the one that used to come as stock on the pre 2016 model bikes. The newer lots come with the so called strengthened gear and brake pedals which are slimmer than the old ones. I guess the old model pedals are still available at the svc if you insist on getting it.

                          Cheers,

                            Yeah,you were right.
I tightened the chain, everything is working smooth now. Thanks a lot.

                            One more thing,
Can anyone suggest good plastic scratch remover for my dashboard to remove swirl scratches?
I remember it happened after my first service. SVC did not handle properly.

Some toothpaste (white colgate)and some rubbing...and the scratches won't be visible....but don't be harsh while rubbing or else the paint will fade....
