Yeah,you were right.
I tightened the chain, everything is working smooth now. Thanks a lot.
One more thing,
Can anyone suggest good plastic scratch remover for my dashboard to remove swirl scratches?
I remember it happened after my first service. SVC did not handle properly.
Do not use toothpaste as such. Get a good quality car wax, preferably liquid or solid. Dab just a few DROPS or a single swipe of wax a small dot over the glass and start rubbing in circles slowly. Remember just a small dot of wax or small swipe of solid wax and use a soft, clean microfiber cloth and start doing circles around the glass screen. Remember not to use solid wax or liquid wax on rubber parts or black plastic parts, they will leave behind white blotches which are not only hard to remove, equally looks horrible. Use only on the screen, and remember keep buffing slowly and steadily, until it shines to a brilliant.
Cheers!

Once upon a time, a guy asked a girl 'Will you marry me?'
The girl said, 'NO!'
And the guy lived happily ever after and rode motorcycles and watched sport on a big screen TV, went fishing and surfing, and played golf a lot, and drank beer and scotch and had tons of money in the bank and left the toilet seat up and farted whenever he wanted.
guys does anybody know , how i can get in touch with Tobbera
he had some security systems for DUKE , would love to get my hands on one, cause im unsure about buying a locally available system and fitting it. somebody tore the front seat again its high time that i install something for added security.
Guys, from few days i'm noticing engine oil leak from cap where engine oil is filled.
I removed cap, cleaned it and tightened it again. But problem still there.
Level of Engine oil is fine(above min mark), this is strange problem im facing.
Is it a serious problem? TIA

Not a big problem to alarm as such. Remove the cap, clean it properly and re-tighten. It happens due to heat when the O ring inside the cap expands and cause a slight leak, totally normal. If you find excessive leak, wherein you can see oil drip flowing after every ride, change the O ring of the cap.
Cheers!

Weird, never seen that happen.
Make sure the oil is not overfilled, and does the cap tighten up properly? (sometime the threads could be damaged causing it to not seal properly)
You can also replace the oil filler cap, it comes with the O ring and it costs around Rs.30 iirc.

I had been to SVC, he changed the cap, cleaned and tightened the cap. He said dust can form on top of surface so there may be little gap so oil can drip ( he was not confident enough, may be he is seeing this for first time). But still oil leakage is visible.

Is O ring come separately or with the cap??
Well, neither have i ever seen oil leak from the filler cap area.
Are you sure that the cap is tightening up properly?? If the threads on engine case are damaged, (rare case since the cap is plastic and the engine case is aluminum) then a leak might occur.
Am not sure if they sell the O ring separately.. but a new cap definitely does come with a O ring.
There is an alternative to the stock oil filler cap, i.e. a custom made nut type aluminum cap sold by one Mr.Dhaval (google it). It costs a bomb (i.e. around 450rs) but it looks nice and helps minimize tampering (you need a spanner to open it)
I have been using this aluminum oil filler cap for a long time (since the first service) and it hasn't caused any issues so far in the past two years. Only thing you need to keep in mind is to not over tighten this aluminum cap or it could strip the threads (just finger tight, followed by a wee bit tightening by a spanner)

Your mech is partially right, usually a loose cap attracts dust around the cap neck and you can see small amount of dust on the inside of the cap, this is due to not proper tightening of the cap coupled with the ambient dust getting stuck leaking oil.
Now I am not sure whether the O ring is available separately, when I last check several months back, it indeed was available as a spare. I'd suggest you get a new filler cap, use light silicone grease around the cap and seal it tight, this forms a temporary gasket and prevents leak. Works 100% of the time.

I have some notorious jealous kids in my building who scratched my fuel tank cover. It looks like somebody did it intentionally with keys. They are not too much but I keep thinking about it whole day.
Is there any way to remove it( it's on orange part of the fuel tank cover).
Does anybody know how much would that whole fuel tank cover fibre part cost? Also, is there any protection which can be installed on the tank cover like 3M protection etc which can protect against minor scratches?

the fuel tank cover costs approx Rs.1200 (stickers cost extra iirc)
3m paint protection film will itself cost you as much as the tank cover.. so really no point in using it.
Your best bet is to keep the bike covered using a good quality cover. Get a tarpaulin cover and it will serve you a lifetime and reduce such instances of vandalism.

You don't need to replace the entire plastic tank cover/shroud, as the tank cover is plastic itself, plastics can handle scratch pretty well than metal, no rusting and no dents. If you observe, just the sticker alone that's scratched or peeled, you can replace the old with a new sticker set.

Hey guys I'm planning to buy KTM DUKE 200. Have few questions in mind before I make my final decision.
I'll be riding it in City most of the time on heavy traffic road. So does it has engine heat up issue in bumper to bumper traffic ? And what mileage you get in City ?
Also if possible please share your maintenance price as few claims that Duke is very high maintenance.

No problem in traffic no heating issues any more past 2 year batches.Easy to ride in traffic all issues has been ironed out.
mileage is around 20-23Km/L in traffic. It might drop further in bumper to bumper traffic.Highways it will give you around 30KM/L.
The regular maintenance will cost around 2500Rs. I think its an reasonable amount provided you take care of the Duke properly with regular chain lubing, slack adjusting.
Have a look on new DUKE 250 2017 not very sure if KTM launches new Duke200.
