can't say that..... It was said that PBK were going to be used as exclusive KTM showrooms. But you can still see Ninja 250's and other Bajaj Products around (at least what i saw in Kanjurmarg showroom)

Let's hope properly trained people will get to service our KTMs and Ninjas.

Yes I had a similar issue but I didn't know what to do about it...So I was planning a trip to the KTM Service center as well...although the console does not show any diagnostics for it to be considered a huge problem...Otherwise it would blink on the console...Also the Level on my coolant is normal (Between MIN & MAX)
Cool man, there is nothing to worry about, just stay safe with coolant and keep it clean. I am sure many will face this issue as not everyone is aware of the correct level of coolant.

Dude stay safe, if you have patience during run-in, you will be rewarded after its complete. I've not crossed 5500 RPM yet, The sound changed at higher RPM's and the silencer roars, did you notice that? It reminds my of the KRP exhaust charger I had on my RX-100.

Here's what it looks like without the number plate, and also with rim stickers!

I just crossed 7000 once, just to see if there is a limiter or not. And ya I did notice, Its much better than what it sounds at lower RPMs. I am waiting for the power parts to arrive, will go for that Apkrapovic exhaust

              • The sound seems awesome already, and I guess it would be even better once we rip it at higher RPMs.
My major concern is cleaning the bike, its tough to clean the black matt finished parts. Also, since the tank pad is not currently available, have to think about an alternative till then.

ya i agree to that, cleaning her is not at all easy. There are so many places which I can see are dirty but it just seems impossible to reach them! :\

PBK will cater to KTM and Ninja, both unless Kawasaki wants to go ahead solo which I doubt since they are pretty much happy with numbers & support which PBK offers. PBK service stations have good mechanics. Atleast, this is what I have experienced in Delhi.

                      • Sad News

Looks like I'm the first one on the forum to report in with bad news.

I took a spill on my bike this Monday. Nothing major, as I was downshifting to 1 from 2 while crossing rumbler strips, it went into 1 and as the front wheel crossed, the bike stopped. I put my foot down and pushed a little as I saw that the gear indicator on the display was blank. Suddenly, the gear engaged and the bike sped off and fell onto its right side and skidded for a few metres.
I was wearing a helmet and a DSG Nero jacket so my torso and head were OK, but, I hadn't put on knee guards so, my right knee got skinned.

                        Bike damage report:
                        1. Coolant spilled out but, is still between the Min and Max level indicator.
                        2. RHS Handlebar grip is a little damaged as the bike was skidding on its side.
                        3. RHS leg guard's top mounting bolt broke and the leg guard itself is scratched.
                        4. RHS rear indicator stalk broke. Indicator functions but, it's just hanging.
                        5. Rear brake lever snapped off from the base. Looks like aluminium, so chances of welding it back are minimum.

I called the only KTM service center in Delhi, Bagga Link @ Kirti Nagar. They said only brake lever is available and they have no idea when the other parts will come, might even take a month. I'll go there after Holi and get the brake lever replaced. Will update after the visit to the service center.

Take care buddy... hurts when a brand new bike gets damaged.

Interesting to note that indicator stalk broke off!! This is one thing which I have like in the P220's indicator. They are very flexible & doesn't get broken easily. Infact, once the indicator lights broke off after I fell down but the stalk was ok. It wasn't hanging or anything. Even after putting my cramster saddle bags, rear indicator gets bent but has never broken off, touch wood.

It really hurts man, especially when the bike is brand new to the market, so the spare parts aren't available.

The indicator stalks seem to be made up of rubbery PVC like material, not exactly rubber.
