Anyone tried to press the starter button when the engine is running. The starter motor operates even when engine is running, which should not happen i guess (i may be wrong).

Or the throttle position sensor is not sending correct electrical impulse to the ECU..
I would definitely suggest RD ECU over Kiirus mapping.. as for the price of 3k more if Kiirus maps are still 12k.. you are getting 5 switchable maps.. in greedy indian terms More value for Money spent!!
Cheers,i get the problem only at 4000 rpm when i twist the throttle only half way down and not all of a suddenOriginally posted by MACH50 View PostPlease let us know what caused the issue..........wud help rectifying mine atleast
will get the sensors and loose connections checked
.
@macho il sure update u guys with the solution , fingers crossed

Did you just get it serviced? I got a couple of false neutrals soon after service but never before or after that.Originally posted by Ankitvile View PostOkk ..False neurals coming up now...not good.
happend few times now.
also the MFD fluctuates a lot also 80kph at mfd doesnt feels so much 80kph as in actual.
Please help with how to get tubless tyre puncture repair. The usual problem while touring.
Regarding punctures, you need to carry a puncture kit and some sealent. I would suggest that you just go to youtube and see some videos on that, it will be much better than figuring it out from what i type.
Actually i haven't ever come across a bike that does NOT do that :SOriginally posted by Janesh.J View PostHi,

Thank you for the response. Here is the high resolution image in case anyone want to have a closer lookOriginally posted by chiku181 View PostAFAIK thats a marker so that while fitting the tyre to the rim the air inlet valve should lie within these two point. Its present in every tubeless tyre.

Got serviced at 1000kms its done 2100kms now. Experienced it few days ago then few times more.Originally posted by dishayu View PostDid you just get it serviced? I got a couple of false neutrals soon after service but never before or after that.

Lately i also realised that duke propels itself without throttling i.e. idling by just releasing the clutch gently. And further shifting it moves on to 6th gear moving easily. Great stuff.
In Bumper to bumper traffic im just releasing the clutch without throttling. Effortless. Fuel saving too i guess. Since im not throttling.Code:https://www.instagram.com/ankit_himalayas/

dont know whether the problem is solved or not
but the bike is not having the problem anymore
took the bike for a spin today before leaving to the service centre and the problem vanished
but still went to the SVC and he checked the bike and it was fine
he said come on monday for the re-map
.
now the problem of hiccups in solved without doing anything (its weird i know )
now shall i go for the remapping or not
will there be any increase in the pick-up
earlier i have no stalling problem
so shall i go for the re-mapping or not ?.
.
and lately im facing a problem when i press the front brake and when the front suspension travels downward i get a squeaking noise
this comes only when the bike comes to rest or to very low speed after pressing the brakes
any one else getting the same sound ? ( squeaking sound from the front suspension )

Hey Guys !! got my bike on Saturday 21st oct, so far 300kms done.. loving every bit of it..
cant resist myself in taking it beyond 70kmph. although the showroom guy said the bike's RPM is locked till 7.5K, once i think i passed over 8K RPM. yes i know i'm in running in period, but only once i did that..
(Evil grin)
so far no problems, false shifting happened twice. breaks are giving lots of confidence. sweeping through the traffic is breeze.
any inputs or key areas to look into while running in ??The road Never ends..keep Riding.

I am suffering from two irritating issues for the past two days-
1. The plastic cap of the brake fluid-chamber for the rear disc brake has been stolen, and now I have put plastic cover over it and sealed it with fibre sealant which are used to tie shopping bags from malls. But I need the real deal.
2. A screw from the front mudguard has fallen off I do not know when and the mud guard is dangling without it on one side.
The resultant is irritating dangling noise and decreasing rear disc performance.
When I went to KTM Spares outlet, it was irritating to know, that they have neither
This is so irritating and I have to wait for these frigging spares which are high on safety issues.Hell's Angel

Changing the whole reservior might be the idle thing to do, brake fluid when exposed to air deos get altered and loses on braking efficiency, im almost sure you know that, but hope this helps others and they can understand the graveness of the issue.
I would say shoot a mail to bajaj, asking them to respond fast as its a pretty serious issue.
Cheers Mate

well you really need to get a cover for your bike man...people in my building have the tendency to screw around with cars and bikes ...especially if it is as gorgeous as your duke..so i got a cover for mine on the first day itself ...'out of sight out of mind kinda thing'...
