Folks, I got my second service done on 10th Oct. In this service switched over to fully synthetic Motul engine oil (300V?) since they didn't have the Semi synthetic one. Now what am I suppose to expect post fully synthetic oil change? Is there something I need to take care off?

Post this service, the throttle response is completely different. Ride is a lot smoother even in lower gears. Its deceptively faster now! I haven't observed engine heat before hence couldn't make a difference on any change in the same.

Also, post second service, I have a feeling that I'm not hitting 100 on the stretches I used to easily hit. Would this be a side effect of ECU re-mapping? How do I find if the ECU is re-mapped?

If you aren't particular about the Leo Vince - you could get a new Duke for an additional 15K!!

Thanks.will try to bargain more then:-). But the exhaust produces really good sound. so I'm particular about it. Also it costs 35k has a bill .And also I heard that a new Duke costs about 1.5 lakh OTR.is this true?
If the price is high what's the price I should offer him?

aaaahhh i love my ktm!! i got it 4 months ago and still don't want to get off it...done 9400kms and got my last free service tomorrow..i cant wait!!

it costs 1.5 lakhs on road mumbai...

In order to judge if the price is right you would need to share your location as difference of 10k can be seen due to location of the bike.

make him get the fork seal replaced at the svc & bargain for 1.1L

(and try to get the original exhaust also if possible..) OTR Chennai should be close to 1.45L
and of course the regular checks while making a second hand purchase

hey guys i got one quick question..which fuel would suite the bike better? im currently on speed..but i have used xtra-prem and power and well i get the best kick with speed... what do ul use?

i got my brand new one a few months ago for 1.34l ...why not put in the extra 10k and get a new one..also find out why the guy is selling it..he might have just got it ..messed around with it and now wants to get rid of it..like make sure ul not be putting in more money fixing the thing up than getting a brand new one.

the prices have increased by 8k ex-showroom, translating to close to 10k OTR

... I think 1.25L is a steal for that bike with the Leo Vince Exhaust.

You can check the service schedule etc with the ASC, they have a computerised record of it.

Booked Duke today ... will be getting on friday 19th oct

although its just 2 days waiting... its loooonngggg.....

now white and black colors are available and from today price has been increased to 153498 INR in bangalore :O :O
i was lucky enough to get it in old price tag of 144348 INR.
