Recently changed the Engine Oil of my Dukie baba after completing 2.5k. Here is my experience from Bajaj to Motul.
The Jerking issues were totally washed away. Initially I felt like the bike can do even more(Under powered for a while). But now, it is a Rocket. Totally smooth and the actual VROOM sound came back to life(I was literally begging my bike to VROOM louder).
This Weekend we have a small ride of 70km in Bangalore. So Time to Rev it up.
I had Many questions from my Dad(How much speed are you going on your bike ?). I used to say 120+ (Then so many Classes on Speed). So I changed from KMPH to MPH. Now if He ask, then I say 70 to 80. (Totally convincing... Even if my dad is a pillion rider with me, he can notice only 60+ on the Speedo ).

Bro,
I agree that it is a bit costly, but the parts what they are providing is for total replacement not for alternating the current parts. If you are planning to put on the plate holder of 200NS on the Duke, you need to cut down the Mudguard and it will cost even more when you want the new one. I have seen the ones having the 200NS Plate holder... trust me they look very ugly. Even, I am also planning to get the R&G number plate... But only after Monsoons(Thinking of my tail rider ). Till then keep on saving so that you wont feel bad of investing at a time.

I think that's the one we all saw on that video of D390 doing 0-100 kmh in 5 sec, and would hopefully be available as a PowerPart soon. So many people are interested in it...
The downside is that all PowerParts are crazy expensive.

LOL!
Nice "workaround" for a "problem"...

Yeah, importance of changing oil is very underrated.
On all my new bikes I change oil 2 or 3 times by 1000 kmh. And then again another 2 times by 2500-3000 km... After it every 2-3000 km.

When the engine starts losing its power and it feels heavy and as if it can't breathe, it's usually that oil needs to be changed. And when you change it, it feels exactly like you described it. Vrooooom!

One Does Not Simply... Install a P200 NS part on a Duke 200 :P

If you really wanna change to a tail tidy then choose the R&G Racing one or the KTM Powerpart Tail Tidy. Not sure about the Powerpart price though.

Has anyone noticed the red light(engine malfunction indicator) comes up if u stall the bike by letting the clutch go at a standstill and not use the engine kill switch..
Is it normal?? Should I not do it that way...
And Is it ok to blip the throttle a little bit while down shifting gears in running period??
Would it affect the engine somehow?

I will be cutting my current mudguard and will be doing something that looks real nice, so if you can, wait for it. Once I do it, you can follow my lead, it wont cost much and it will look better than the tail tidy.

Whats the use of it? I have the mudguard installed, but have removed the other mudguard which is attached to the saree guard. I have a friend who has both, BUT neither of our pillion riders stay clean. On both the bikes, the back gets the dirt from the tyre, so its of no use. Also the rear mudguard is just 600 rs, well that is something the SVC quoted me. You can confirm with your local one too.

You dont need to worry about that, its normal, but try to not let your engine shut down like that, it harms the engine. Also as long as you dont open full throttle or open throttle too suddenly or take the bike above 5k, then all is fine.

Are you trying to say Tyre Hugger? lol. It's true that the hugger makes the bike look dirtier, But the pillion rider as well? . Now which one costs 600. Its Hugger/Mud guard?
Trust me dude.. I have seen bikes with NS fittings.. Looks uglier than Ugly.

ive done a small mod on rear tail

i bought extra mud guard set from the SVC
and it costed some 600-700 including taxes
which includes both the mudguards along with its down support

i initially cut the whole rear part including the indicators holders and then cut the shape accordingly to the rear lamp

the outcome was good but there is a steel clamp which is present which i had to weld and take it off
which acts as a support for holding screws for the mudguard (the original one) but as i cut the mudguard uptil the tail lamp it serves to purpose and i had to cut that part in order to make it look better
im hereby attaching few pics

this is the final outcome of the DIY tail tidy

i somehow didnt like it
so reverted back to stock
im glad i purchased extra rear potion and carried out the experiment on that so incase i go wrong or if dont like it i can revert back

hey hey ivin
dont pounce on me

i didnt stay long with the mod , for not even a night

i didnt like that part that there are no indicators and proper number plate
but i was in a thought on integrating LED's inside the tail lamp itself so i removed the indicators
but dropped the plan and so i reverted to stock rear panels

now im all good with proper license plate and indicators
and i ride with my riding gears on always.

as i said this was just an experiment or simply call it a prototype of the mod to see how it looks like
as i was having much of leisure time and so did it .

No no, I told if anyone would like to carry this mod, they would have to sacrifice the indicators and that would be a bad idea. Thats all.

I

U can cut till the indicators part also
I cut it till tail lamp as I was about to integrate indicators in rear lamp

But I felt that the original rear fender looks far better compared to this short cut one
As it is like the tire is extended out and bike is small ! So I didn't like it
This is my opinion
No offence to anyone who has a tail tidy on their duke

hunkofgals and wallpapers123 - guys, please consider putting the mirrors back.
Xbhp is trying hard to promote and raise the awareness of riding in a safe fashion and according to traffic rules, and taking off the mirrors is a quite a serious step in opposite direction.

I myself will be very vary and careful around any bike I see on a road without mirrors!
Because I know such riders don't see anything behind them and not just that they are putting themselves in danger but much more, they are putting everyone around in danger due to possible sudden movements, be it yours or those behind you.

Please, let us be good examples to others, and not bad examples.
