Re: KTM 200 Duke
Today I went to Khivrak@Kasturba Road,Bangalore for my 1st free service.I had an issue where there used to be oil leakage from gasket.it was fixed today by applying the loctite and dried for 2 hours.
I must say after service the bike feels really smooth, and extremely refined. They did the normal procedures that they ideally do for free service.Guys out there are pretty cool and very good.I was impressed by their work as it took 4 hours for the complete service.
Total cost was around 2.4K including Orange Assist.Thought of asking for some discount but then didn't feel like coz those guys were working on my bike continuously since 10 to 2pm
Currently no issue (if the oil leakage doesn't happen again though )and motul 7100 is awesome I must say.
Couple of pics attached
s1d as you mentioned I asked them to open the top and then apply the Loctite.they did the same and wasn't charged any. Thanks a lot :-)

Re: KTM 200 Duke
Couple of my friends have it.one had a breakdown in Bangalore and the carrier can win 40 minutes, dropped the bike to nearest SVC.Originally posted by 200Duker1993 View PostThat sounds reasonable for an year. If they are able to provide quality service when we are in need of one on road.
Their service is good.

Re: KTM 200 Duke
your welcome. like i said its a common occurrence and nothing to worry about.
so the same gasket was reused i guess. being a relatively new bike, it should hold up.. if not get the gasket replaced at next service.
----consecutive posts auto-merged-----
To reassure you, its perfectly normal. I am yet to see a new ktm without weights.. maybe i'll spot one soon.Originally posted by kkunal View PostSo is it normal to have weight balance on the wheel of new bike?
It all comes down to the specific wheel.. so some might and others might not have the weight(s).
A few of them lose the weight due to an accident, during rim/tire change (like Ajay Vishwanath) etc.. and I am yet to come across a shop that does balancing for motorcycle wheels.

I haven't got the whell balancers.
I think I saw one shop near kamanhalli(or somewhere while coming from that side) who does wheel balancing for motorbikes.
