I am getting an weird sound from rear as if you put in couple of plastic coins in an plastic box and shake. I am getting the sound only when I go on even little bit of bad roads. I showed it in service centre but they aren't able to find it out.
Any solution ? My Duke has compacted 3500KM bought in mid of January.

        Hi guys
Sorry indnt upload any pics off late after buying my duke 200.here are some pics.
I was highly impressed by this bike, specially the handling and not to.mention the FE of drove sanely.I am almost at 290 kms and still have got 2 bars left from hitting reserve.Mostly I see this 47-50kmpl while driving from Manyata Tech park to Whitefield as I would be cruising at 65-70 on the outer ring road(Bangalore)
Other than that bike is really refined.I general shift gears at 3-4k rpm on 1st 3 gears, rest 4.5 to 5K rpm

Here are some pics to compliment the bike ;-)

i've never seen it display 50km/l on my bike over the past 19000km.
now i am going to ride in as eco mode as possible and see if i can get it to show up 50kmpl at least once. not that am unhappy with the consistent 33 kmpl in city, just the desi itch after seeing your post

btw, i did a 600km round trip on saturday/sunday and was 80% of the time cruising at 85-95kmph with the rest being the distance to get out and in to the city limits.. and i was able to extract 32kmpl.

Tool kit is well secured I checked it today.
No moving parts parts under the pillion seat everything is kept securely.

the rev limiter is always at 10500rpm.
as long as u ride the way you do, your fe will be around the same.

Can u share ur riding method as i would like to test it on my bike on one day touring. I am at 14k+ on ODO but i ride only in city and due to Mumbai traffic i get between 30-34kmpl. I did hit 55 on ECU once when i was i lucky enough to ride about 25km without much traffic or stop at any signal. But that was once.

Sure.I am from.bangalore so here in the evening mainly the traffic is high. My office Timings are generally afternoon 2 o clock so not much of a traffic, but there are though.
I am.in run-in period so I haven't crossed 7500rpm but ideally I will be shifting to 2rd gear at speeds above 10 kms and from there 3rd and 4tg gears at around 4000 rpm, rest 5000 rpm.one thing which in generally do is I don't open the entire throttle ,instead I open it very slowly and smoothly(run-in) and might give around 20-30% of the throttle as it easily reaches speeds of 65-70.if I .stuck in b2b traffic I generally see 26 or else it usually hovers from 38-42.But when its an empty road and I have kept the throttle constant at 70s then I generally see 46+.
Last full tank I got 320kms until i hit reserve.
                          Hope this helps ...

If you properly role on dont use your throttle agressivle the mileage goes till 63 km/L... I hav done it... A 80 kms ride riding in a up down speed of 50-65 the console gav me a view of 63km/l
