Re: KTM 200 Duke
Yes I know it's very difficult to identify the sound issues it comes only when I go faster say more than 50kmph I am sure it's not an backfire. The sound is constant in the above mentioned speeds.Originally posted by s1d View Post

Re: KTM 200 Duke
Did u apply any oil from priest or sth? Coz my priest drew a sacred symbol with oil on my console. And the mark still hasn't gone till now. I've washed my bike 3 times in 2.5 months.Originally posted by xplod566 View PostI went to SVC and they polished it.but after that I can see some swirl when in direct sunlight
Btw you can't apply too much pressure on the console as it's a delicate area.

Do not use dashboard polish on speedo console, sometimes the black plastic rubber part on the speedo gets a "whitized" tint and it's very hard to remove them.Originally posted by sanjaysangar1990 View PostUse a dashboard polish and all will be fine.

Some priests use kumkum and keep a small bindi on the speedo. Now the issue is if you have the speedo covered with the protector, the protector becomes red/orange and that "dot" is impossible to get rid off, though they fade slowly over time. And preists nation wide somehow have the conviction to place a bindi right in the center of the console. Some gyaan I say.Originally posted by jack_daniels View PostDid u apply any oil from priest or sth? Coz my priest drew a sacred symbol with oil on my console. And the mark still hasn't gone till now. Once upon a time, a guy asked a girl 'Will you marry me?'
The girl said, 'NO!'
And the guy lived happily ever after and rode motorcycles and watched sport on a big screen TV, went fishing and surfing, and played golf a lot, and drank beer and scotch and had tons of money in the bank and left the toilet seat up and farted whenever he wanted.
THE END

Well it went off now.its all cool now.I polished it very lightly and there are no swril marks anymore
However I think the console screen quality is pretty bad coz even at the slightest of running it generates a permanent scratch.saw it on my friend bike.(390)
However if I apply a thin 3M coating (like in superbikes people use it for tank scratch protection ) will it make the display burn or develop black marks inside it .I heard someone saying it happens if its kept under such plastic or film protections
