I too feel the same way... Let's see what happens..

Duke 250 is already available in the European markets..
They might not do a major makeover.. Then again.. Time would answer..

The duke is not perfect.. But there are ways to make the ride more fun.. the forum is there to help you identify if you face any issue with the bike...

Yes the seats are hard but you have gel seat options ... So on...

Yes bro the cat con unit was removed as per the blog.. But it was all in Russian..
Improper combustion..No I don't think so.. You are still retaining the stock shape of the exhaust.. So minimal exhaust misfires may happen.. Please do not drill holes on the exhaust as it will ruin it... Beyond repair..

              help brothers
You can check the chain slack and the adjustment if its already adjusted to the maximum.. Then you have to replace.. Mine has completed 6.5k on the odo.. Chain is still going strong.. Lubing and slight tightening of chain would reduce wearing of the chain.. but by 10k kms the bike may feel sluggish.. They replace sparkplug and chain for that reason only.. Hope this helps..

                          Adding to paradox,

I have heard from guys that they have used it till 25000kms....but it depends on how you drive, lube n maintain it.

FYI, I'm in my 19000kms... And still 7mm of that adjustment screw is left out...

After 15000kms u will start getting a kind of noise from the chain.. It irritates me..and the bike becomes a bit sluggish.. I might change mine around 22000kms.

If chain maintenance (i.e. cleaning and lubing) is carried out as recommended in the manual, the chain will easily last 25k km.
My bike has done 18k km in 16 months and the chain looks it will last another 10k easily. Another member @Ajay Vishwanath who rides a rc200 has done i think close to 20k now and is still on stock chain.. he rides faster more often (he rides around a small track and that puts more strain due to frequent acceleration and braking) than me but the key is both of us take good care of the chain. Simply lubrication with gear oil every 500-700km goes a long way in keeping the chain running well.
the bike feeling sluggish at 10k km is not true if the chain is in normal condition.
Sure shot of way of ruining the chain is when you:
                            1. neglect lubrication and the chain runs dry
                            2. riding in dirt often and not keeping the chain clean and lubed
                            3. Improper chain adjustment.. it's better to have the chain a little lose than too taut. A few mechs do end up adjusting it too taut. refer to the manual and check the chain tightness and adjusted accordingly. If you are a heavy person, say over 75kgs.. i'd say let the chain be a couple of mm more lose since it will tighten up when you sit on the bike. And don't adjust the chain if its not necessary. Simply fiddling with it is not necessary. I've had my chain adjusted 4 times thus far.
                            4. riding like a maniac neglecting the above 3 points.

Anyone here know where I can get an Akrapovic or a GPR ? And how much it'll cost to paint the tank and the frame? And also the rims maybe?
