No what I meant was.. Since duke is naked. When we turn off the engine the heat cools down pretty quickly. And since the rc is fully faired it will take more time . I have noticed this with my duke that, after I get back home and put the cover the entire cover feels warm.wouldn't he face the similar problem with rc fairing? Wouldnt it have bigger radiator and more volume of coolant?

Re: KTM 200 Duke
A little bit of modification will be necessary but the fairing should fit, I don't get why one would do that thoughOriginally posted by KayKashyap View Postis it even possible?
i mean,RC 200 & 390's fairing is totally different,he might have to overhaul the entire front part(IMHO)!!!
maybe a RC8 fairing is possible,but i feel buying a RC 200/390 is better idea,if u like the fairing so much,Pun intended. [emoji14]

Ohhh ok.... Well go ahead shubham go with the mod. But let me give you one more idea for the mod. Instead of spending the money on fairing why don't you let the duke be naked. Instead spend the money on painting the frame orange. Orange rims and a good projector headlight mod for the duke. With duke racing stickers..
orange frame and projector headlights will make the duke look kickass. And really mean.
just an idea though. If you want to go ahead rc mod . Go ahead with the mod buddy and let us know how it turned out. Best of luck fellow rider :thumbup::thumbup:

Re: KTM 200 Duke
Dear Saurabh.... My current pulsar has split handle bars which caused me shoulder pain and upper back pain while braking during recent drives. The same handle bars are also seen in P200NS. So It is a big concern for my shoulders as well as my whole back. I had sit on KTM duke , checked the handles. But it looks comfortable to ride. If it is not suitable bike for me for daily city commuting , pls suggest me an alternative bike other than P200NSOriginally posted by Saurabh Umadikar View PostMate due to stiffer suspensions I think that the Duke 200 will also be a tad uncomfortable to you. Also it's seat is not comfy as that of the Pulsars. But yes it is a fun bike for city commutes. I always make some or the other reasons to ride my brother's Duke 200. :-P
For comfort have a look at the Pulsar 200NS

Maybe the cramped riding position and heaviness in the handlebar is causing that backache.Originally posted by rahulrajan14 View PostDear Saurabh.... P200NS doesn't has that heavy handlebar and is fairly up raised for less stress on the shoulders.
But if you are not comfortable with the clip on handle bars then don't get the NS200. Instead opt for single piece bar handles like the Duke 200 or Suzuki Gixxer 155.

Re: KTM 200 Duke
Thanks Saurabh !!! Gixxer showroom is too far from my home... Gixxer is out of my list. Only KTM, bajaj, yamaha and honda showroom is only 2 min from my home. So should I go for ktm duke or fz - newly released model for comfort for my back while riding on city bumpy roads???Originally posted by Saurabh Umadikar View PostMaybe the cramped riding position and heaviness in the handlebar is causing that backache.

Re: KTM 200 Duke
If comfort is what you are really looking for then go with FZ or Unicorn. But you will get bored pretty early with the FZ .Originally posted by rahulrajan14 View PostThanks Saurabh !!! If you the budget for Duke 200 go for it. You'll never regret this decision as Duke is a real fun bike .

KTM Duke 200 390 HID BI Xenon Projector Blaster Robot Angel EYE KIT | eBay
and regarding painting the frame i would suggest you look for expert mechanics who restore old bikes or people who mod superbikes , since they will tell you where to get the frame powder coated as well as painted. but go for renowned mechanics not just anybody since unmounting and mounting engine is not childs play. different areas of trellis frame have different tightening PSI numbers. so make sure you go to a expert, since im from mysore i dont have any info about pune. but let me ask my friends who have stayed in pune they might give me some contact numbers.
