another friend of mine has a hid setup on his d200, but comparing it with the led, i felt that the led setup was way more simpler and effective.

You have mentioned 2 LED's... Which is the LED your friend has purchased...?Originally posted by s1d View Postforget the hid, the led i mentioned above costs just as much but with almost nil juggad and wiring headaches.

Also, i have a doubt to how to place the heatsink in? asking it because we have a rubber cupping over the bulb holder.
Is it ok to place the heatsink inside the rubber cupping? Need you inputs here.
I have Philips HID's and they are a pain in the *** always.
So i'm thinking to change to LED's now. Stocks are waste anyway.

Thank you xplod566..Originally posted by xplod566 View PostEye candy bro.Looks smashing.Today i did some rim stickering. Will. Will upload once i reach home.BTW i will be installing the Windshield (CBR 250R) this weekend.First time i am doing any DIY!
BTW if you are going to try the cbr250 windshield mod, drill 8mm holes on the shield so that you have some room to adjust the shield (in case of misalignment)..
Also I suggest you to remove the windshield's rubber mounting points and use a standard bolt, washer and nut method as my windshield holder rubbers didn't last long..
good luck with your diy..

Re: KTM 200 Duke
They should first open up dedicated spare and service centres and should not club it with bajaj.. I had a bad experience at Anna Nagar KTM. I went to purchase 390 handle bars, hand guards and bar ends and I was directed from mogappair SVC to Anna Nagar one. When I went there, there was this old guy who made me wait for some 30 mins and then says that he forgot to take a not of the part number...Originally posted by 200Duker1993 View PostGot my handle bar replaced (met an small accident ) couple of days back bike was pulling towards left so got it replaced 1405₹ for handlebar and labour charges in SVC (Anna salai KTM)
KTM should badly ramp up their service centres they are not able to meet the demand.
Due to his negligence, I got frustrated and ended up arguing with that guy..
why KTM why?!?!? :banghead: :banghead:

Re: KTM 200 Duke
If you want the spares and parts best ones are Adyar and West Mambalam they are pretty good in stocking even I got 390 handle bars and hand guards for my duke from Adyar and West mambalam ones. Including new model 390 bar end weights. Mogappair one is Gud only for SVC not for spares. When I enquired with west mambalam guys to get my handle bar replaced they asked me to bring the bike on 19 March 🙄Originally posted by paradoxr9019 View PostThey should first open up dedicated spare and service centres and should not club it with bajaj.. Seriously ! Dear KTM when we are buying a bike for premium we expect small things to be done in few hours not weeks.

you will need to remove the rubber cupping and use the provided hardware to mount the bulb. it may need minimal juggad for certain bikes.
i also spotted similar led's on aliexpress for like $20 , itching to order
Aliexpress.com : Buy 2015 New Hi Lo H4 LED Moto Headlight Bulbs 32W 3000LM Headlamp LED Conversion Kit Driving Motorcycle Headlamp Lights 6500K/3000K from Reliable motorcycle helmet brake light suppliers on Tianshan Mountain technology co., LTD | Ali

It was a direct fit with no cutting needed.
The Aliexpress one is not as effective but costs 30% of cyclops.
