That's the problem. I don't have access to a pressurised gun, any other options.

On a different topic, is it viable to get JT sprockets from UK? Or any other Powerparts as such/riding gear?

Thats y I normally get it done from the SVC... 2 min job, they won't even charge you for it
I visit SVC for this once in 2-3 months when I travel past the SVC.

I just wanted to know about the Powerparts as I am keeping the duke for as long as the engine is working. Me and my bro have plans for a twin_cylinder in 2-3 years once R3 and ninja comes with abs.

I won't be doing any upgrades in warranty period though.
For simple things a job card not necessary.. But if it's a persistent issue then it's better one puts it on a job card.
Keep the d200 stock and save up for a bigger bike would be my advice

Cant really save much for a bigger bike now as i plan to pursue my masters next year. However, i have no plans to make any immediate changes and its just a thought that i would like to get Akra exhaust if i have that much extra money which is not really possible at the moment.

For now, my concern is riding gear and the essentials that need to be changed on the bike i.e.- chain sprockets, tires and such. These will need replacement by the end of the year and i am saving for them. I just wanted to know if getting JT Chain sprockets from UK is a better option than stock as i read they last much longer and are better Vfm from that point. I have someone coming from UK at Rakshabandhan and he may bring it over if its available there.

Cant really do that, since i have locked horns with the ASC over the rear suspension issue. Is there anyway to clean it in house, as i plan to do it once every month just cause i like to fiddle with the bike.

Is there any stock replacement filter with equal filtering/dust protection but better airflow? Just asking for my knowledge.

maybe slightly more or equivalent to stock.

As for cleaning air filter just tap it out on the floor with side facing outside downwards. Or take the filter to a neighborhood mech who has a compressor (a lot of mechs these days do) and pay him 20 bucks to get it done.

Motul, despite being a bit expensive does a pretty good job.
You can get the Cleaner and lube combo in any good accessory shop.

to clean the chain place the bike on a paddock stand or center stand, start it and put in first gear and release the clutch.
As the tire start rotating, spray liberal amount of chain clean on the chain and rear sprocket.
Let the tire spinning for a while, then use pressure water pipe to wash off the dirt and muck. Pinch the mouth of the water pipe to create a pressure spray on the chain and sprocket. Then after all the dirt has been cleaned. increase the tire speed by giving throttle, this will get rid of water in the chain and the chain will be dry.
If you don't use water, use a clean cloth to wipe the chain clean, or newspaper. (don't use the above method for rotating the chain, rotate the tire with hand and clean by rubbing the chain with cloth.
After the chain is clean, start the bike and put it in first gear, so that the chain starts rotating, then spray chain lube on it. make sure all the links are properly lubed.

Different people says different things about cleaning intervals. Some advice to do it at 500kms, some do it at700-1000kms.Usually in rainy seasons the lube is washed quickly by water and there is a lot of wet mud, so you may have to clean and lube more frequently, in dry seasons the intervals can be longer. I check the chain every time I clean the bike(Sundays), if it is dirty or dry, I clean and lube it, no matter how many kms it had done. I would advise you to do the same.
Hope this helps brother. Ride safe.

Just a warning; to add to the point above me, DO NOT ever put your hands or fingers in contact with the chain when its in gear, people have lost fingers, had them crushed and what not. No harm if you're spraying it onto the chain, but just be very careful while going about it.

                      - Best Chain Cleaner and Chain Lube -- Motul C1/C2 Combo ( Make sure you get C1 / C2 only ).

                      - Best Method -- Every 500 KM ( Chain Clean and Lube ) --- Sometimes 300 KM in rainy seasons etc. and do get the chain slack adjusted every 1000 KM. If you have a paddock stand then you can easily do it yourself. For Juggad - Any rode / wooden block appropriate height. AVOID the first gear method, trust me, one mistake and disaster. Manually, slowly rotate the tyre for chain cleaning and lubing, safest and best method. After cleaning, let the chain dry for 20 minutes, use a gentle water spray and cloth to make it dry. Apply lube in bursts and let it dry for 15 minutes and you are good to go.

                      Cheers

Have a question, is the turn indicators are auto cancelling or not? It never turned off for me but my old Pulsar 150 had auto turn off.. also indicator switch felt too plasticky..

While riding home back every body was singling that head lights are on..
Congrats man. could you post 1 more pic of
                        front / headlight ?

I don't know but to me the headlight looks different as it comes in power parts. [emoji50]

There is a squeaking sound coming from the front discs whenever I tilt the bike to rest on the side stand or when moving the handle left and right. The squeak sound is like a frog croaking .

The sound won't come if the front brake is applied while moving the handle.

Done around 1100kms. Is this normal/expected when the bike is new?

                              Happens at times.
clean the calipers with a pressure wash and clean the rotor with a scotch brite pad, then drop the pads and rub them on some sandpaper. put em back and it should probably go away. make it a habit to atleast clean the disc rotor with some soapy(vim dishwash) water at-least once a fortnight, and the pads slightly rubbed down on sand paper at every service.

They are not changed at X km but depending on if they have worn out or not.
There are folks whom i have seen neglect basic chain maintenance and 'ride' brakes resulting in them being changed as early as 12k km.
And folks like me who are still on the stock chain sprocket and brake pads even after 23k km in close to two years now.
So inspect and change if needed, don't let the svc folks give you random X km figures for things such as clutch plates, brake pads, chain sprocket.

Past more than 2 weeks there is tapping sound from my rear which war irritating and finally got time to take the bike to SVC . The person in SVC told should change the sprocket set and also the brake pad.
I lube my chain every 500KM once.
I neglected about adjusting chain slack because I never knew how to. Please let me know easiest way and what tools I need for adjusting chain.
                                My Odo is at 14500KM.
Paddock stand must make life easier for chain maintainence buy dint find anything in my budget.
Note : I missed my 2nd second service at 8500KM and gave my bike at 11500KM they accepted it only for 3rd service so 2nd service went null.
Guys any input on whole of this issue.
