and the question remains why do i race?
every finishing line is the begining of a new race.
#i have learnt to manipulate my own adrenaline and the perception of biking is different.
#overkill is underrated.
#how random roads may appear there is always a destination.sigpic
#i don't subscribe to co-incidence,either it is the rider or the other moron on the road
(:)people keeps on saying add spark to life, bajaj got hold of that idea and added an extra spark to bike.

good hear that no issue thing..and wats the matter with the elbow shubz???Originally posted by Shubz View PostThough I am out of riding/driving due to a dislocated elbow, I guess I can still contribute here
People have used normal petrol at bunks in remote places and have had no issues.
KTM service here is using Castrol Racing 1 10w50 FS for changing at the 1st service.

It settles down somewhat post run-in especially after you start using synthetic engine oil.Right..the heating slightly subsided on my bike after the 1st service and oil change. And I had put in the above mentioned Motul 7100 only. Lets see how good it isOriginally posted by pratikm87 View PostSo the MOTUL 7100 4T would do good for the duke i guess ,as its 100% synthetic
Its not the best...even with the slight press of the brake pedal..the tyre starts to lock, which is not good.Originally posted by ARUN CHOWDARY View Posti have to say this...the rear braking is awsome..best ever
And start using Multi quotes..as I did above.

Serious problem
I got the delivery of my bike just 4 days back and done around 320km. Today evening I went for a ride and after 10km I was in 5th gear pulling from 4000rpm and I got a sudden forward jerk and engine died while me at about 50-60kmph
. Then I pressed the started again and It started but now it was showing warning light glowing red (fuel injection lamp). I continued to ride and I noticed that on the console rpm was fluctuating from 1k to 7k but actually engine speed was constant. The engine shut down 2 more time on my way back home. I will visit the service centre tomorrow.

sorry to be dragging this along further. did you fill the fuel after delivery? what fuel did you put? speed? shell? extra prem? or regular petrol?Originally posted by alderine rush View Postfuel level was just 2 bar less than full...I am sure Its fuel injection problem because its written in the manual that red light warning lamp means fuel injection problem.
I could be wrong but seems like somethings jammed the FI system, or the fuel was of very bad quality?
