) and it's a little bit embarrassing for himself ... so he always wanted to buy a bike and i was the objection between him and the bike...He occasionally started learning in my 220F but not being able to handle the 152 Kgs and 21PS of power he given up.
But he always wanted to learn it.
So he can ride ... but not that good ... he struggles at uphill start ... gear changes etc.
So i think i should get him something that's not that hard to learn and pretty comfortable to handle and something that looks good.
When i tried out R15 v2.0 ... It was all good.
It was nimble and forgiving ... and pretty easy to handle ... didn't have terrible bite on the throttle and very smooth too.
From what i heard it was pretty much the same in CBR-150R other than a smoother engine and a little more bite compared to R15 v2.0.
So i am hearing all kinds of things about these two bikes ... Which is more forgiving and little light on power delivery .?
Or should i get him a more suitable bike for eg. Pulsar 150 / Unicorn / Cbz / or even less powerful bikes ... just to start out.?
I don't want him to hammer the throttle , oblivious to the fact it might be the end of him , just to show off in front of his friends.
I want him to know it's serious business before he go bananas with his bike.

please make sure he gets the bike which he is comfortable with and also can be a good learning experience. you test riding is for yourself but what about him? if he is a college kid he will obviously go "bananas" with it. make sure he has DL and also learns riding safely and properly on the bike he is comfortable on. As far as i see both these bikes need better understanding of the pros and cons involved. not to forget the damages these bikes attract after a fall creating hole in the pocket for you. choose WISE
