Did the engine power delivery change after fitting the k&n filter?
Also do you know if 250R k&n air filter is interchangeable with150r.

If it delivers power then I have no problem with changing the engine oil every month.

      • K&N High performance air filter for Honda CBR150R

I wish to upgrade my150R By replacing the stock air filter with a K&N high performance filter. Although the filter k&n provides is for CBR 150r is for model year 2002.

The name of the filter is HA 1502

I wish to know if this would fit and function in my 2012 model CBR.
The second option is using K&N filter for250R on my bike, but I am not certain that it won't adversely affect 150R's performance or if it would fit in it in the first place.

I would like to request anybody with any experience in this regard or with knowledge of these filters to help me.

I dont know much about power difference but the pick up will surely increase...and I visited Aditya coimbatore a month back and the people there said that 250 and 150 shares the same k&n model

Stay away from K&N, Simota, Green and other performance filters. They aren't suitable for ultra dusty Indian conditions.
They'll screw your bike within 2 years of use. Want more power, get a bigger bike!

Bike looks good with the new stickers and paint. i wanted to do it on my orange CBR especially the HONDA .

                  1. Both sides on engie guard you have done the HONDA stickers or only one side ? how much did you pay for it ?
                  2. MRF on tyres are sticker or paint... if paint how did you do that..and i guess paint will go off in a month..

                  Thanks,
                  Alwin

Thanks alwin!! Yeah I stickered on both side...the left side cowl will be small compared to right side....so plan your stcker size and position accordingly...price is just 80 rs ( i hope you can even bargain it to 50)

Paint will stick to the tyres but make sure that the painter is not applying more coats because the extra paint will spill in the tyres while riding and it wont go off...painting costs me 200 bucks (go to a good painter if you find one just say me..im gonna remove it and paint again)Click image for larger version
