After putting 100-90/17 rear tire.. The tyre hugger has to be removed?? They is really no option other than zapper FS for the front tire??

How puncture resistant is zapper fy1 ( R15 v2 front tire)?? Basically looking for a good puncture resistant tires should also have good wet and dry grip....

I think it's 2.5 liters. The bike goes in reserve mode when the petrol level hits below 2.5 liters. Bajaj has given this bike huge reserve capacity which I think is actually no good use. What's the use of such high reserve capacity, anyone ?

      Guys,

What's the mileage that you all are getting from your discover 125 st ?. I'm getting at the most of 50-52 kmpl even when driving the bike at average speeds of 50-60. My bike has completed 8K km on odo. Is it me or anyone else feel that bike vibrates more at the speeds of 50km and 70km but cruises smoothly at 60km ?. Is it a known issue ?

To senior discover 125 st bike owners: How's your bike riding experience been so far? Has it got better, bad or worse with time ?. Awaiting your valuable feedback/answers.

Usable reserve is less around 1.5 litres.
That crap bajaj oil is the cause of those vibrations. You can change the oil to shell advance AX7 and feel the smoothness.
I have never heard of any complaints from 125st owners who maintain properly.

Your bike should give 60+ kmpl. Reserve to reserve method doesn't prove to give accurate result with small quantity of fuel. Fill around 5+ litres then check.
Moreover some fuel stations provide less quantity to bag more profit.
        I always trust shell fuel.

Guys just finished 3rd servicing about a month ago. I am still not getting mileage above 55 kmpl. Is this something to worry about? However, engine has gotten very smooth. Minor vibes between 50-55 but becomes totally smooth in 60-70. Surprised by high speed performance.

One more thing. I wish to change rear tyre. I am feeling very uncomfortable when I manuver around corner these days. Tyres are so damn thin bike looses stability even on minor road cracks and potholes. Which tyre is best for this bike? I am thinking of upsizing to a 100/90-17. Which among MRF-Zapper C, CEAT Gripp and Micheline Siraca Street is better? I heard Zapper has hard rubber and doesn't provide adequate grip.

Hey guys, just a concept pic. How 125 ST would look with a wider tyre and pulsar 135/200 style number plate hanger.

Guys, need your expert advice. My bike has completed 8k on odo and is due 5th service next month. I want to go with some other oil than the usual Bajaj dtsi oil. Which oil will be good ?, please advice.

              Thanks in advance

                        Doesn't 125St need 20w50 oil?
Better late by 30 minutes than early by 30 years.

                          20w40 is the recommended grade.
Never use 20w50. It will make sluggish.
I suggest to use 10w40 or 15w40 for smoother ride.

Website is incorrect. I had mailed them long time back but sadly they havent changed it. It is most definitely 20w50 and I got it filled during last 3 services. In next service I am changing to Motul 5100 which is 15w50.
