Vinit, why 2 more? Is that too tough to guess . Because the craving for that heavenly thump had not died. Wanted some more, something else, something even better. BTW I did not tell you, I never used wild boar. Sorry but my personal opinion, the wild boar looks very ugly and looks like a disgrace to the gorgeous bull, well as I said my personal take.

That stupid Bannerghatta ASC guys like obviously were giving me all sorts of faaltu gyan that you use aftermarket silencer you loose warrenty blah blah blah. I felt like opening the exhaust on their faces as those stupid guys they themselves sell goldie silencers there for 3K (which actually doesn't cost more than 2.4K). So all that gimmick to sell their silencer(which obviously isn't theirs).
As I had told you before after first service I never went there and at mehboob there was no such faaltu gyan, infact they even told nothing would happen to warrenty.

Thanks. Not sure I mentioned this to you or not. But I also went to mehboob garage and got my vehicle problem sorted their. Vehicle is running very smooth now.

Would be going to same place again this month for 2nd service.

I got wildboar today. Amazing thump and sound. And I liked the looks to.

I am going for 350kms ride tomorrow morning with xbhp bangalore group. will let the group know how vehicle performs.

One question- which silencer did you find best as far as sound and thump is concerned for tbts?

Naveen I have used three till date (including stock one four ).
Below in the order I have used:

              1. Glasswool goldstar - Looks good. Sound bassy. Since it was having glasswool inside so you get a loud bassy sound but the sound drags after 55-60. Thump not like typical CI like but still very sweet and bassy sound

              2. Short bottle having glasswool - Looks best as being of short bottle shape. Sounds exactly like goldstar but I found a little, a very little less louder than it, rest sounds very similar.

              3. Short bottle Indori - This one has baffles inside and not glasswool. This silencer has that typical CI sound characteristic, some treble, little bass and a pinch of hollowness just like CI but offcourse not loud like CI for obvious reasons. This I am using right now and found best among all three, at least as far as my personal taste is considered. If you want really loud sound then this is not the silencer but if you want that typical CI sound feel then this one is the best.

PS: None of the above three silencers dropped any mileage or affectef the performance. Infact the goldie and glasswool short bottle would give a very mild increase in initial pickup.

Let me know for more queries.

Is this indori silencer of Quality, Chennai? Could you post a pic or video please. And is it a direct fit for the bend pipe? Want to know how it sounds on both my ci 350 and tb500

                      Hi friends,

Yesterday i had my TB500 serviced, the second service. Although i had not completed my 3K KM, but it has been 3 months since i got it, so i gave it for service.

Anyway, the problem is that i had a little moisture of oil near the O rings and that was taken care of, but after the service, it seems as though the service guys screwed up my rear disc brake. It used to function properly before i gave it for service, and after that, no matter how hard i hit the rear brake, it feels very non-responsive and the bite is very low, i am not able to jam the rear wheel, which i could do earlier.

I had told the service guy that there was a querring sound coming from the front disc and if could take a look into it, but i have no idea what he did to the rear to make it without such bite!!!! On the way back from the SVC, the bite was increasing a bit but still not upto the mark like it used to be!

                      Any pointers???

Also, i want to get my silencer changed for more thump, but i really like the look of the stock one and do not want to compromise with that look, are there any good aftermarket one available which look the same as the stock but with a good thump??

Probably they have checked the rear disc & must have done improper bleeding.
So as a result some air bubbles must have entered. Dont worry it will be rectified after some time.
Keep stabbing the breaks until all these air bubbles deprecates. Dont have to do anything special. Keep applying as you normally do & it will come back to normal.
If the rear break is near to nill effect then go back to SVC ask them to re-bleed properly. They will probably say the same lame excuse that it will come to normal after sometime.
Tell them the rear break is almost useless & insist that if anything happens those guys will be screwed.

No it is not from Quality metal chennai, I think they make it in Hyderabad. It is quite famous and common here.

I will try my best for the video. Give me some time

Yes it is direct fit on the UCE bent pipe and absolutely no alterations required

Had a harrowing day today. My tb500 rear wheel got locked/jammed. And to my bad luck there was gravel on the road. Hence a skid and a fall. Luckily I just left the bike and it fell. Got a dent on the tank. the side light was crushed but when I lifted the bike it was fine. Called up RE. They did their best but I managed to do better and cancelled my appoints and proceeded home pondering did I spend 1.76lakhs wisely? Should I have waited for Triumph?
Common this is a brand new bike not a bike put together from scrap. You can't have so many problems minor or major with a new bike. Really fed up. In times like these my old faithful ci 350 bullet is the best friend.

This is absolutely pathetic from RE and really sad for you. Did you get to know the reason behind this? And for god sake do not spare RE guys and insist them do whatever they could. This is really not acceptable from a new bike.
