but I was told never to use free flow on tb500, as in long run it will impact the engine and piston, but however I was advised to use any silencer with glasswool inside, is this understanding correct ? please advice, I am also planning to replace my silencer over weekend, may be shall visit Mehbood, any idea where so I get best price for the same ?

My Silencer has glasswool, but i was advised by ASC that there is no problem with free flow silencers. Where as I believe that, i should get th FI and air mix tuned to avoid lean burn. Lean burn can impact the engine.

        Cheers 😊

              Hi,

I have my TB 500 booked last month. And I got a call from the showroom today, that my bike is ready to be delivered. They have asked me to bring the DD and the address proof, photo copies and stuff tomorrow. But i told them I will come on Monday due to some constraints.
Can someone (who has already taken delivery ) furnish me on the procedure ? How is it done ?
like, you give the dd, after the dd is validated , then they show the bike before the registration, then you get the bike delivered after registration ?

Am i right, could some one furnish me with the actual procedure.. when should i do the PDI..

              Im so excited !!

You are spot on mate. Once dd is validated or cheque is cleared you need to ask the RE guys to show you your bike. You do entire PDI and then give them the approval to take the bike for registration. Same day in the afternoon, once road tax receipt is received, you can take your bike delivery.

RTO number can be taken next day from ASC and RTO registration card will be courier end at your home within 1 month.

                This is bangalore procedure.

I have posted link of PDI on the same page twice, if you are unable to find one I can share the link again.

Yes I have stone black. Bike is amazing specially the Matt finish makes it look international.

No issues as of now for maintainance. I use dry cloth to clean the dust daily. Bike is washed with normal water every week. Twice in two months got it a shampoo wash from a near cleaning guy.

I will be buying a 3m chrome shiner this week just to apply that only at chrome.

I spoke with mehboob garage folks today. No issues in using wildboar free flow on tbts 500.

Main guy mr mehboob wasn't around. Taking my bike for servicing on 25th dec (they are open) and will speak in detail and get you the detailed feedback.

I too think it shouldn't be a problem, as stock 500 FI is tuned to be rich in mixture, so when a free flow silencer is used, it wouldn't run lean. Not sure, but technically nothing should go wrong.

Any idea how to adjust RPM for tbts 500? When I started the Bike today, it was at 1500 RPM when idle. Not sure how it happened. Took to local mechanic he told he isn't aware to adjust RPM for new Engine.

Isn't it supposed to idel at 1500 rpm? Or is it lower for RE's ?

                            Ride safe and have fun.

Till yesterday it was ~1200-1300. I can feel the push from the bike now on 1st and 2nd gear.

                                It was magic

The rpm's on cold engine are lower than that on heated one.
Don't know anything about RE's though.
Check again tomorrow and till then pyar to the Bull God to not be angry.
