Has anyone tried the ixil x55? How does it compare to the ixil hyperlow, sound and performance?

Got my 2nd servicing done at around 5800kms on the 12th last saturday. Clocked a few hundred kms after that and the bike feels as if it lost all its power. The acceleration has dractically reduced. Noticeable change in throttle response. How the 390s have jerky characteristic and wont let you stay at a constant speed, that is not just there anymore. In short the bike feels dead. Do not seem to understand the reason behind it. Will be visiting the service station tomorrow to see what the problem is. Anyone face similar issue ?

Same here. The surge after 5k rpm is gone! The bike is smoother though.

Me too completed 2nd service just a few days back, and my brother was the one riding the bike and he said the same, said the power seems to have mellowed down. No idea why, I haven't ridden the bike yet after the service , so i am not sure. Is the chain overtightened ? Do check that, also sprocket wear and tear also another thing to check.

              Cheers

yeah, same here too. no surge after that 5k mark which was there before, just like a turbo kicking in... bike is smooth, or maybe we are used to this power now...

is it that our mind is simply complaining?

The only explanation I can think of is that they've remapped your ecu to make the bike more civilized

If that is the case, it shouldn't be done without the knowledge of the owner of the bike. If the fun element of the bike removed, seriously that is not acceptable.

No its not our minds. I did ride my friends 390 which has done about just 1800 kms and that feels totally different.

Even I do not know what to think, but i can only give a formal comment after i get a chance to ride the bike, haven't ridden it post second service, but my brother who rides it complains of it.

Ownership experience has been pretty good except some rattling sound coming from the underbelly exhaust. It only happens on cold starts. When engine is warmed up there is no rattling sound. It has been there from very beginning(~500 km) but now it is more pronounced. I had instructed SVC guys to inspect it before both of the services. After 1st service I didn't notice it but afterwards it kept on increasing. Yesterday when I got my bike back after 2nd service, I was told that the exhaust will be replaced under warranty. But I think they weren't able to identify the problem. Today I got a call from SVC to make a video of it and send it to them.
                                Any help would be appreciated.

Not quite sure about the sound.
The exhaust note seems to be perfect, but the rattling sounds seems to be more like, due to the bottom Silencer chrome guard vibrating and touching the silencer in some way (Just my opinion).
Recently got my friend's Duke 200 serviced and there was this rubber coupling of some sort that comes in between the bottom chrome guard and the silencer and he removed the rubber which was there earlier; probably burnt or loose and replaced it with a new one (Because the Silencer chrome guard was a bit loose, but I couldn't make out any noise as such). You could possibly check that.
And I am very sure if the Service people say that they would replace it under warranty, I guess you need not worry!
                                All is taken care...

                                Regards,
