    The nearest SVC is 200kms.
So I got it changed at a local mechanic as I was busy.
I was there the whole time nothing out of the ordinary.
And the oil leak is here

ohh ok. i talked with a mid 40ish guy who was booking 390 from there. he was asking about my experience on long drive & performance. yes the svc engineer said so cos in indiranagar servicing is not done. i did went to langford ktm than to kasturba svc. as i reached around 12:30pm the svc was already full and over that the bike washing guys had not come. did talked to the svc guys the check my bike and said that its absolutely fine. so no tension any more

I am mid 20ish and already have a 390. Btw the place you went was showroom not the SVC. The SVC is almost a km away from Indiranagar KTM.
Anyways, great to know that everything is fine. Enjoy

Okay, that's far away from almost everywhere.

Anyway, here's some GMaps links that might help you:

Marathalli > Auto Service, Banshankari: Link

Marathalli > Khivraj, Kasturba Road, Off MG Road: Link

Marathalli > KTM, Langford Town: Link

In case you want something closer, there's one KTM Dealer at Marathalli, owned by the same Indiranagar, Langford Road, and Kasturba Road Khivraj guys:

          Marathahalli KTM
Address:- Gowrasri Arcade, No. 95/3, Outer Ring Road, Doddanekundi village, Karnataka
          Email:- [email protected]

Never been there, so am not aware if they have servicing facilities or not.

After close to 7 Months of Ownership and close to 8K on the Odo, I have the first major problem. The Fork oil is leaking which means the dreaded duke 200 issue is definitely carried over to the 390. The seals gave up for no apparent reason whatsoever as almost all my trip is on good city roads and are very careful with bumps/unevenness thanks to the fragile alloys.

No seal stock in Hyderabad service centers! Have to wait at least till Tuesday and this being my daily use vehicle, I'm and

Kind of Ironic that it says "Endurance" on the WP fork!

                    Oil Level issue :

I have strange issue with oil level. After 1st service, when i reached home, i saw oil level at the mininum level. I was furious, I took bike back to Service Center and ask how they managed to put less amount of oil after charging for 2 L of oil ( They have me .5L oil back ).

in order to prove that they have not cheated me, they released the oil from bike and showed me that it measures 1.4 L. They said, it looks issue with oil window and they'll inform KTM about it. They re-filled the same oil back to bike and this time oil window level showed at max level. So, I came back a little confused.

Now today ( after 1 month of 1st service ), Oil level looks like this Click image for larger version

I can't see any leaked oil at parking. I always park it at same spot at home and don't take it to work so any leaked oil should have been visible. Where all the oil go ?
Any body else faced same problem ?

Sometimes, I have seen that the oil level is not correctly indicated at the end of a ride. Try checking it at the start of a ride, after having switched the engine on for a few minutes. Check it a couple of times and if still the level is not showing correctly, then take it to svc.

The oil level thing had me worried for quite a bit too before the 1st service to the point where i would check it every single day before/after riding the bike. The oil level glass checker is the weirdest on this bike. It would have been better if they had provided a dipstick instead to eliminate confusion. The service techs will lean the bike a bit to check the level whereas the manual says that the bike oil level has to be checked with the bike straight.

In addition to this, the manual suggests 1.6l of oil to be used in the engine (EU User Manual). However, the service slips attached in our manuals suggest 1.5l of oil to be filled during regular oil change kinda service. The assumption being that approx 100ml of oil will remain in the engine when the oil is just being drained out using the drain nut. 1.6l is to be used only during an engine overhaul.

In your case, if there was only 1.4l drained out, its too low IMO. As AmitRavi suggests, check it a couple of times after riding and then take it back to the SVC to have it sorted out.

Most motorcycle problems are caused by the nut that connects the handlebars to the saddle!
