And if you brake at last moment seeing them, then the damage will be even worse!I feel its the tyres which make it more prone to rim damage compared to say D200. 390 has relatively smaller sidewall on both tyres so on impact, the tyre cant absorb as much.The tyre compounds are one of the softest in indian bikes so impact absorption is relatively lesser. And also harder suspensions will rebound much of the impact jolt to the rim.
Riding carefully is the only way to prevent it
