Yep, there has been change in the way the radiator fan works. Not sure how much true it is. Will check out that today. Here is below.

When in traffic, the radiator fan work in opposite directions making the heat from radiator to be pushed towards front of the motorcycle, thus throwing heat away from the rider. But on Highways, it will work as usual.

Apart from this, There has been relay issue that has been rectified already.

dr.mayanksingh...ordered it from one Mahesh from Mangalore. He said he'll contact the motul company and order it. If you google Motul dealers you get a list of numbers who deal with it in each city.

If this is true, it is a smart solution! Never heard of something like this before. Can you verify this on your bike?
Your biking tells a lot about the person you are!

            Checked on my bike.
It works as i said earlier. Can feel the rush of hot air in front of the radiator. Smart solution exactly.
atul_chang and Abhiman, can you too check on your bikes?

2 more bikes are ready to be delivered.

Showroom is expecting more 8-10 bikes in next week or in 10 days. They said that they would complete first 15 bookings by 22nd or 25th of September. Overall, barring the wait for the bike. Showroom personnel were excellent in their profession. Will put up more details in a day.

Rode in traffic for almost 15kms, The heat is there but not problematic. Have to see in afternoon times.

After 150kms of distance covered in and around Hyderabad city, below are initial observations.

                    1. Its is absolutely magnificient machine. sMILES all the way.

                    2. Heat, till now no problem. Off those 150kms, 100kms were in city and most of the time in traffic. As it rained yesterday and was quite cool. I did not felt heat problem. It is there but nothing to be worried about.

                    3. The radiator fan turns in opposite direction in traffic i.e. it will push the air ahead of the bike instead of towrads the rider. Thats clever solution. On highways it will work as usual (if raditor fan is required).

                    4. ABS: Came into action when a trolley guy faniced sudden brake making the trolley to skid. I applied the brakes quickly and easily felt ABS doing its job. No drama and simply slows down. Its operating is not as smooth as one on CBR, but it makes the presence felt.

                    5. Mileage: Showroom provided with 4lts. Strictly instructed to keep minimum of 3 liters in the tank for good health of FI system and fuel pump. Console shows readings between 25-33kmpl. Will check the mileages once the run in is complete (my run in will be 2000kms)

                    6. Shift rpm indicator is set at 5500, but not limited to it. But till now I havent crossed 5500rpm. Does 90kmph in 6th gear at 5000rpm. I dont intend to cross 5500 till 1000kms.

                    7. Completed 150 kms and will change oil at 200kms.

                    8. Being 6ft and 85kg (i am not overweight :P ) I felt at home on the bike. Comfortable and lots of space to move around.

                    9. Did not get chance to see the grip levels of the tires. Will test them once I cross 500kms so that Tires and brakes set in. But as many reviews said, they are excellent in wet roads.

                    10. Bike gets dirty quite quickly if taken into slush or wet roads. The spray will reach till rear seat and riders back. So be careful over the slush.

                    11. Peppy and torquey machince. Brilliant handler and flickable in tight traffic. Few people had concerns of usability in city and they can forget about it. First 3 gears cane be used all the times and ocassional 4th and 5th if you find little open roads. I got many chances to use 6th gear (speeds above 60kmph) in the city.

                    12. Price breakup (approx): Total onroad 206900
                    Ex-showroom: 183595
                    Life tax+TR: 17xxx
                    Insurance: 5648 (nill dep)

As this will be unofficial oil change. I will get it for myself and change the oil.
