Guys got my new bike delivered on 31st Oct 13 . Already did 300 Kms on the display . During diwali all the ring roads of Bengaluru were looking like airport runway , suddenly so empty and wide with all the people gone out city to their respective home towns . I took delivery of the bike from Indranagar KTM and rode it all the way to Jayanagar in the evening peak hour traffic , heat coming out was immense . It was something that I had never felt on bike .

I have been maintaining the bike well within 4000 RPM and I just love the thump it generates . Took it to Hosur(edge of Karnataka and tamiladu border) and it was a ride in the rain . ABS can be really felt at late braking even on wet roads . Engine has been responding properly even when I'm starting in traffic signals after turning off the ignition n engine . Feels like the service guy has set the engine on higher RPM initially . As told by everyone heat in bumper to bumper traffic is too high , I was told it will settle down eventually . The shocks are really , throws back at you for your sin of getting the bike into potholes . One message would be , the ones who are planning just go out n get this orange fella home . We all deserve it for having waited all these years for perfectly packaged bike like this .

I have walked for about 10 kms to school when I was in more remote part. Now-a-days I commute on my bicycle for about 70kms a day, since winter started fog is lowering the visibility and had many near misses with ASTC buses.

A friend of mine had a crash on is 390 Duke and claims that the wheels locked up and he skid. But doesn't 390 have ABS? Can somebody update on the current price? I may buy one someday.
                      I am back!

Have been to SVC today, it was indeed the coolant leaking from the encircled place ... they have put some sealant now and assured me it won't happen again ...Click image for larger version

Couldnt resist the urge and managed to hit 185kmph on my Duke 390 yesterday with some revs still left on my 54kg weight .

Anyone else did any top-end run yet? I think it can go upto 190kmph.

i dont know how you manage to keep it below 4000 rpm, i just cannot control it
as soon as i stop looking at meter it goes all the way up to 8000 rpm and thats the way i flaunt it.
commute time is decreased by 40% in 390 . max i have gone up to 5 th gear in city. it will be too much fun in highways.
heat dosent bother me as cold is arriving and it keeps thighs warm .
                                btw congrats for your monster
