I have been maintaining the bike well within 4000 RPM
      Congrats on the delivery.

I feel we may do more damage to the engine by religiously maintaining it with 4k rpm. Even the Manuel says to go ahead till 7.5k. These are moderately fast revving engines and would be advisable to take it beyond 4k, not suddenly but gradually, at the same time varying the rpm. Just my thoughts.

and I just love the thump it generates
Could not stop myself from commenting, but thump?? In India, mostly bullets are associated with 'thump', and especially the old CI ones. Its like they have an unofficial copyright on that word..

Rider weight has nothing to do with the stability. Even at that speed Duke felt great. Only thing wobbly was my helmet.

With my weight Duke gives a GT650R a run for its money. On your weight , I am sure you can chase down almost anything in City limits.

Not that they aren't worth every pisa of the 20k, its just that i'm so damn cheap.
Metzeler will be available for 16k a pair in coming months in Delhi. If its expensive then you can still pick up Michellin pilot street, thats one hell of a good tyre too with amazing grip for its price (approx 8k for pair).

Duke is mud magnet... It's better for pillion and others if you use the tyre hugger! Although rainy season is over
