          6. Shift rpm indicator is set at 5500, but not limited to it. But till now I havent crossed 5500rpm. Does 90kmph in 6th gear at 5000rpm. I dont intend to cross 5500 till 1000kms.
1000 kms @ less then 6000 rpm? Wont that be affecting the performance of the engine at a later stage? will pushing the rpm 'occasionally' to 8-9k after initial 2-300kms on the odo be advisable?

Also, a DIY of oil change, prefebly with some pics, would be helpful for others. Is there any oil filter which we need to replace while changing the oil.

What are those other parts apart from the key-chain? some description of the same would be helpful.

Not always excatly less than 6000rpm. You can taken bike to 7500rpm occasionally for short bursts only, not for longer durations. It is simple never stay at constant RPM for longer durations. Use the 7500rpm rev range in all the gears from 2nd to 6th gear.

Once I get the oil can (probably tonite) I will do the DIY along with pictures.

Is KTM Hyderabad getting the zero depreciation insurance for KTM 390 ? Then why not Bangalore specifically Indiranagar KTM . How is it in BTM , Mekhri Circle?

KTM Begumpet, Hyderabad is providing both Zero Dep for Rs 5650/- and Normal for Rs 5000/- ( ICICI Lombard)
                I opted for Zero Dep.

I dont think there should be problem for a showroom in giving Zero dep.

OT : Does "Zero Dep" makes sense for a new purchase ? ... Isn't it more useful/applicable at the time of renewals?

Dude!! Dude!! Its full synth oil that is in the bike already. Changing it in 200km is not at all a wise thing. And I guess ktm engineers know better than you about their bike. So please don't waste money and also pollute the environment by changing at 200km. Just stick to manual just a friendly advice. Its your wish however

They provide zero depreciation policy by default with theft cover.

I have taken kalyan registration. So I got 2.02L on road. Mumbai registration is 2.06 on road. I should have it in a week.

Has anyone update on the delivery schedules of Northern India. All the bikes that have been delivered seem to be from Mumbai/Pune, Bangalore, Chennai and Kolkata. Does this mean that we can expect at least some bikes in Delhi by this weekend?
