A friend brought the Bolt Red Streak just before we went to Bhutan last year, loved it. Especially with that app and the GPS mapping. He had it under his seat, so I can't comment on how waterproof it might or might not be. I will admit, am getting one for myself either way, its a pretty good piece of gear!

Also the problem for me is I own iOS device and app is available only for android.
I use an app called ESR on iPhone to track GPS with expense of battery life.Last edited by Shyam Cmr; 04-27-2016, 11:14 AM.

Bolt does not have 12V socket. 12V sockets would be required for charging DSLR batteries, air compressor and other accessories. With 12V socket, you can use good 4 USB port charger which outputs 8A and can connect all your accessories simultaneously. I don't know how well the GPS mapping works though.Originally posted by Ayush Daga View PostA friend brought the Bolt Red Streak just before we went to Bhutan last year, loved it. Re: KTM Duke 390 - Ownership Reviews and Experiences
Hi,
I want to discuss an issue (hopefully not) with my duke.
I have a 2016 Duke 390. Yesterday while going over a speed breaker with a pillion the bike scratched it's bottom twice.
Ever since then, I am feeling that the suspension has become extra stiff, the read end is jumping very hard on even the smallest of potholes.
While breaking hard at high speeds I felt very slight wobbling in the bike but that can also be due to the uneven road.
The side stand has also got affected as, on side stand if I place the headlight of the bike to the right the bike starts to fall.
Can anyone suggest what to look for a faulty suspension please. How to check for leaking front forks and if the rear suspension can also leak oil or gas ??
ThanksBusy finding peace

Its happened to me a few times, but nothing happened about it, and what you feel about suspension etc. is most probably psychological(I've gone through the exact same thing, I felt a speed breaker had messed up my alignment and so on, turned out nothing was wrong). When you're giving your bike for service the next time, just mention that it scraped a few times, and that you'd like them to look into it.Regarding the side stand, what exactly do you mean? In case the side stand is actually damaged and the bike is excessively leaning(you could compare it to another RC), then in that case definitely go to the SVC as early as possible to get it fixed.Originally posted by Hemant Singh View PostHi,

Regarding checking front forks etc, I have no clue, sorry
, but i wouldn't really worry about it.
PS while going over a larger speed breaker, either go to the edge of the road, as for some reason on indian roads, the incline of the speed breaker is lesser at the outer edge, or worst case, ask your pillion to get off. If it doesn't help, you can change your suspension setting from 3(default) to a higher number(10 is max), as this would stiffen your suspension, and reduce how much the bike goes down. Just get it done reasonably, as too stiff would make the ride more uncomfortable.

Messing up with suspension settings effects stability.Originally posted by AngadV View PostIts happened to me a few times, but nothing happened about it, and what you feel about suspension etc. is most probably psychological(I've gone through the exact same thing, I felt a speed breaker had messed up my alignment and so on, turned out nothing was wrong). I adjusted to lowest possible setting Cz of bad roads. I was leaning in corner in an clean road without potholes or sand. But there was an small depression in the turn Cz of an culvert below. Cz of that small depression & am turning wit speed with the suspension setting on softest side my legs scraped road also bike became little unstable.
One good thing is KTM gave suspension adjusting tool with tool kit so I can stop and adjust it based on road conditions.
I reduced stock setting by 3 points & I think I should have reduced 2

The side stand now has an even less lean, so the bike as of now is standing almost upright. Anyways I will ask SVC people to look at it at the time of service.
Screw these speed breakers. I hope the people who made them get their wheels bottomed on the same speed breaker.

It's just a cool looking switch. You can also have other types of switch.Originally posted by jack_daniels View PostCould u tell me how to install the hazard light switch?
And installation part you need to go to local mechanic. It's not an easy DIY.

I have the adapter installed. Just needed info on how to install the switch. Maybe the wiring harness needs to be connected to the turn signal indicator wires.Originally posted by Shyam Cmr View PostIt's just a cool looking switch. You can also have other types of switch.

@JD Ifadapter is installed then why do you need a extra button. It has inbuilt switch on from indicator capability.Originally posted by jack_daniels View PostI have the adapter installed. if you are talking of the KTM powerpart then it does not need extra switch. click left for the left indicator and then click right for the right indicator back to back and it will activate the hazard light. pushing the switch inside again as we do normally will disarm it.Originally posted by jack_daniels View PostI have the adapter installed.
