Check the coolant level, is it high or is it low on the can? Did you hear the fan working before the stall?

Here is an update. I had earlier posted the "high temp" warning and that the bike was stalling. VJ had replied to the thread asking me to check on the coolant level. I checked and the coolant level wasn't alarming.
I took to bike to SVC and asked them straight to change the fan. Since, i thought the fan wasn't roasting my legs as it used to. They asked me to wait for a day till the do the tests with the bike to isolate the cause. I hesitatingly agreed. The first advisor told me that there are 2 reasons for this warning to appear. 1. Fan not working properly and 2. the sensor gone kaput. So, in my limited knowledge, i thought the hell with sensor. Cant take the risk of seizing the engine and asked them to change the fan.
The SVC kept my bike for around 36 hrs and called me the next day afternoon to come take delivery of the bike. They informed that the engine coolant had deteriorated and wasn't doing its job properly. They changes the coolant completely. Costed me 663 INR. Whereas, the fan was around 1200 & sensor was 800 bucks.
I drove around for a bit and the bike is just fine!!! all that hate i felt towards the bike has just evaporated. I love being astride the duke.
