Issue still persist and bike is back at ASC. There is clearly miscommunication between SA, mechanic 1, 2 & 3 & the works manager.

What do you mean by extra earthing? Can you share more details?

What issues are you facing again? Be a bit elaborate so we all can get a hold as to what's changed, what's the new problem. Keep us posted.

Low oil pressure now this new error. The oil level looks OK. Is this a huge concern?

Mostly a faulty sensor. Better check oil level during warm engine

I'd suggest you check your engine oil first, after a mild warm-up of the engine, as this makes the engine oil level easier to read. Secondly, make sure the engine oil is slightly above the half way mark on the sight glass. If your engine oil level is at the recommended level and inspect for any leaks near drain bolt, oil filter cover etc, if you find fresh leak of oil at any of these places, that is not black and sooty outside, we have an oil leak. Everything else being normal, then we have a faulty oil pressure sensor.

                  Cheers!

I think you're talking about 2017 Duke 390, I've merged this post to the 2017 Duke 390 other thread so you get your query answered fast. Also, please use proper formatting and refrain from using SMS, Short forms or regional lingos on the forum. Type out clearly, not like -- dnt, hav ne wat facing d, problms et cetera. • DUKE 390 2017 Low engine oil light and warning

Hello guys, I got delivery of my Duke 390 2017 on 29th June and on Sunday when I took it for a short ride, The low engine oil light came on and it showed me a warning on the TFT. I reported it to the service centre and took it there, the guy saw the history and cleared it off saying it wouldn't come back and we checked the engine oil levels which were perfectly fine. On the way back home from the service centre, the light came on again and it showed me the same warning on the TFT and I stopped on the side only to nice that it had disappeared instantly. I called the service guys and sent the bike again yesterday, they told me that I would have to keep it there for a day and it would be resolved as they'll have to check the sensor and internal stuff. Later in the evening, I got a call and they told me that when the bike was taken out for a test ride it was completely fine and that there wasn't anything wrong. I just got the bike back today and it didn't give me the warning, since it's my first bike it worries me that the bike is not even 2 weeks old and such errors are seen already, is this something serious or is it something I shouldn't really care about? I'm also very confused as to what should be done next. Any D390 2017 Owners here with the same issue? I am in two minds of taking my bike for a long ride because of this issue. What do you guys have to say about it? Do you think I could probably take it for a long ride? and anyone with such an experience with the bike, please help me out.
                        Thanks in advance.

So yes i do see a leak at the cylinder head and will go tomorrow to get it fixed. About the ABS am gonna request them to remove the abs motor check its functioning and refit it coz I really dont wanna spend 20k for a new abs motor.

Hello I'm new to this forum. And I see a lot of experienced riders here so thought this would be the best place to get a reply. I'm gonna get my first bike and I want it to be a Duke 390(I have rode other bikes and yes I am a responsible rider) . I have found one in my city(mangalore) but it's a 2014. I've heard there are many issues with the pre 2015 versions such as radiator fan heat aimed at the legs, forks seal breakage and so on. Not to mention no slipper clutch. I wanted to know if these issues can be taken care of.

                                So heres what happened today
Oil leakeage fixed sensor cleaned and oil topped up
Removed the abs motor and got it cleaned and after a few light hits with a hammer the abs now works perfect and the light goes off as well.
Last remaining issue. The pump malfunction indicator always stays on and blinks sometimes. When checked with the disagonostic tool it reports pump/motor error, to which the svc guys said its because of the abs motor. I feel its bad wiring or bad sensor coz abs works flawlessly and fuel pump is new. Signed up for orange assist. Total amount spent today 1800.

Next up replace alloy wheels in insurance. Rest all is ok with the bike. FINALLY😉

Just purchased a 2013 d390 1 month back. The bike is stock with all original parts. Problems 've faced. Yes it heats up and lot and your legs can feel the heat to an uncomfortable level. I guess it can be fixed if you install a radiator fan from the 2016 model. Havent had any issues with the fork seals so far. Havent missed the slipper clutch so much but yes you can install a slipper clutch on 2013/14 model for around 10k. A lighter clutch would definitely help. How much are you paying for the 2014 D390. I paid 70k and another 15 so far to get it fixed, if you are getting the 2014 variant under a lakh and it is in decent condition I would say go for it. Cheers!
