@Abhi - Get a regular 18" rim with 3.00-18 M45 tyre. That will give u excellent combination. And for FX doom, bend ur ass and try to work on it a bit, u can do things urself. Else ull take decades to make decision. I pity ur wife, she will find someone by the time u make some decision waiting for time!!

I love wide full chassis on sbk/and on SBK's with 2 legs and i gave a few of those SBK movies to Sarvajit yesterday on Abhi's insistence!!! Abhi's addicted to fat rears big time !!!! At least i limit my taste on wide full chassis to girls/women but Abhi takes this obsession to new heights !!

About that,Abhi is already searching for "her" and surprisingly enough he made a spot decision on a 'chassis' within a few seconds at the helmet store !!! to my shock you might say on his quick decision when it comes to choosing chassis.

That e-starter was necessary as I've spoiled my right footrest (brand new one) by kicking hard (higher compression).
the thing is, that the F2's swing arm is wider that the rtr ones, so in order to attach the rearsets as well as the front footrest assembly, we had to buy a longer swing-arm holding bush (longer than the current F2 one, longer than the rtr one too)
so i bought the FZ's bush as it was long enough.
but again attaching the footrests were difficult as the rear brake rod type of a thing was still sliding between the gap of the rearsets and the swing arm.

so we needed to install rubber mountings to bring it out even further.
after 2 extra rubber mountings on both the sides, and eating the entire holder are meant to hold a 140 section tyre, finally my rear brake turned functional.

the problem thus was that the footrests had come soo out from both the sides, that (forget my kick) even rtr's kick didn't go down without hitting the right footrest and the brake lever.
the higher compression was a problem thus and i had to put the bike on the main stand, walk on the left side, hold the footrest spring up, keep the brake pedal pressed, and then kick.

this turned too hectic.
i even BENT my kicker (the new rtr one) within 2 days as it used to hit either on the brake pedal or on the kick.

now initially when the alternator was to be installed, i wanted it to be driven by the area where the self starter is installed, but like i said earlier it couldn't be done as it was giving 22:1 ratio.
but before calculating this, i had already bought the flywheel, the one way bearing and the step down gear to run the alternator's shaft (actually made to run the self starter's shaft).
thus as these things were already there, + starting my bike was a massive problem, + my wiring was the one which supported the self start, + my switches also has a self start button, + my battery too was a 9 amp one.
i thought why not buy a god-damm motor and make it self start.

that was the real reason, didn't intend to get her purring. (sorry for too long explanation)

secondly even when you got the 90/100 bulb installed on your cbz from ruby, i didn't even know what a battery ampere means at that time.
so never say i am above anyone when it comes to lighting.

If its the first method, than you definitely need to replace the clutch plates.
you'll need a set of 5 clutch plates and 3 pressure plates meant for fiero (available at tvs dealers) and replace them with the existing ones.
its easily available.
any mech will be able to do this.

Its not as simple process as it should have been.
the thing is F2's magnet and classic fiero's (or rtr's which is the same as classic's) are different.
i bought the rtr's one way bearing (clutch) and the flywheel behind the magnet meant to rotate the crank with the motor.
i also bought the step down gear which completes the gear train from motor to the crank.



however Classic fiero's had a made in japan one way bearing (self start models), while the rtr has a made in germany one way bearing.
the methods as well as the bearings were completely different and the mechanism was the same.
the bearing fix the flywheel as well as the mounting to the magnet is perfect, but since the F2's magnet is different, it has a 5 mm extra long plate kinda thing behind the magnet (where the flywheel goes), however that wasn't a concern initially as the flywheel is bigger than the magnet.

but later we found that the step down gear was touching the magnet's extra plate (which rtr as well as classic fiero doesn't have).
so we had to go to the lathe guy, cut off that extra plate and then repeat the above process to gain satisfactory results.

all you need is a starter relay, a starter motor, one way bearing, step down gear, flywheel, a small bush to avoid free play of the step doen gear)

and yes more importantly you need to drill a hole on the starter shaft cover area on the engine groove for the shaft to enter the engine, the groove is already given, you don't need any oil seal or the o-ring as the motor has it already.

i got the hole made with a diamond tip cutter.
it puts a lot of metal into the engine so a proper flush is needed.

a cut had to be made on the red portion.

But before that, like we discussed, get a regular 18" rim with a 3.00x18" tyre-Sirac Street is doing great on my bike.

That's whole lot of effort bro,i am sure all of it was a good learning experience to you and though it might have been frustrating at times,it is very satisfying when you do such changes on your bike and the satisfaction of getting the bike to the way we want it to be is reward in itself.This is something most of the bike owners never learn about.It's like customizing the bike according to your personality,hence it stops being a mass produced bike which we need to adapt to,rather than the bike matching our needs.The way a bike should be.
All it needs is a gambling instinct and a frontier attitude.Of course a good knowledgeable mech too and in my bike's case not much finance was needed.
