So i was being too kind with Abhi eh? Well it's a step in the right direction!

I do most of my riding in dark never been a fan of early morning starts,so invariably i end up riding in dark. But the other kind of "riding" is not dependent on time of the day or night!

My view is simple ,if it affects performance adversely even in a small manner, then it's got no place on my bike.

Money put on my bike has priorities.First performance ,then looks.
I think you have a misconception of performance going down after coil rewinding which is not true, even if it is it wil be very very minimal

I know your 1st priority is performance, but dont let your buck stop their

Get the mech to do it,it needs a battery source and the other is to let it know when the plug is firing. So it needs to get input from the CDI and it has to be taken before it goes to the HT coil. It's a simple enough an job for the mech to do.

So you've washed your hands completely off the matter? It'd be another matter altogether if you had put it on your bike It would have been like, putting her off her miseries in a quick and painful manner though!

It had been found that late nights are for sleeping and it is the early morning times that everything is ready to run on full power...so after a good rest performance is guaranteed on a 'ride' in the early morning...That is why most people start riding in the morning hours.Ever heard of Bramha Muhurtham

                • Guys sorry to disrupt your good spiritted leg pulling and chit-chat!
                  The fact is ...
I changed the springs ... do my dismay, the noise was still there ... the mech put the blame on the bush ... I asked him to remove the front wheel cover and took a hard ride in a road full of the deepest potholes and ditches... well!!! the noise completely dissappeard. So now the culprit I guess was the whell cover which has several cracks which rattle and shake on the rougher roads ... specially when the bike tackles the ditches. So I will have to look for the wheel cover.

Are the plastic parts still available? are they still manufactured? I might have a hard time hunting it down.

@ gixxer - R u listening ? Early morning rides are more refreshing than starting close to noon & In my opinion riding in the dark is a big no Unless & until it is very Important Or we do it for fun in the known Highway along with a small group

Good thing man, Dont worry about the Mudguard, If you can't find OEM Fiero ones, you can always choose from Samurai, Shogun & Shoalin or something as I feel all are Interchangeable & come on man, Its just a Mudguard cover dont worry too much on this

Jesus Christ, Dude seriously this is too much..

What is Shreeni talking & what are you replying ?

Where is Wheel covers & where is Drum Brakes or Disc brakes..

Once & for all, the Mighty RD 350 runs on both only drum brakes & can put to shame all the so called racing engieering bikes now produced & has both disc up front & rear..

That doesnt mean Rd 350 is waste, Is it ?

It may not be the whole mudguard (i assume this as your wheel cover) but a metal bracket inside it.
i was having the same problem, and got rid of the metal bracket, but the mudguard is still there.
Try it out, it should work, i am running my bike like this from 6 months.

Expecting a lot from a fiero.

Your point is? RD performs because of drum brakes? and doesn't need disc brakes? Try asking around what were the things wrong with the RD and maybe you'll get somewhere.
