For connecting the Alternator you connect the Alternator out put to the Fuse ,ie.,after RR.If you want to use the coil in the Fiero you can connect it to the RR unit..For AC you can always tap into the coil...Even in Alternator you can tap into the coil by opening the alternator, and adding one wire to one of the 3 phase winding.Originally posted by NANOtechnology View PostSo what option have i been left with ??
I will have to put up a stock rtr 180's coil, which means that i cannot remain on DC circuit !!
Most importantly, its the rr that i need of the rtr 180's, which straightaway means that i have to go back on AC setup, will have to settle down with 35w halogen bulbs !!!

Another thing, as my switches are of p135, they work on DC by stock, i just wanted to know weather i will be able to use the same if i tap the AC line instead of DC for the headlamp ????
Stock Fiero uses AC headlight and DC for other functions isn't it ? If it is not so,you can always rewire it for the same, and upgrade winding for higher Amperes. When Was The Last Time,You Did Something For The First Time.

With 8 poles there is not much choice....but all you need for three phase is just a set of 3 coils at 120 degrees from each other with 19 guage wire to produce required power...and have to use either home brewed RR or Karisma's...otherwise stock coil configuration with thicker gauge wire and APE RR for Single phase use.Originally posted by NANOtechnology View PostSo basically if in case i need to use the stock rtr's rr for suppling the stock current to the tci, i have to leave the winding pattern untouched isn't it ??When Was The Last Time,You Did Something For The First Time.

Dude ,today i went to the banjo bolt guy and unfortunately he had none that fit our rides. Then i went to couple of other spares stores recommended ,but there also none were available. So,now it's the lathe option for getting a double banjo bolt made.Today the lathe was closed,so now i'm hoping to get it done on the morrow. Can you find out whether there are any decent helmets available at big bazaar?Originally posted by abhilashabhi12 View Post@All
Had been to gixxer's place today & we both went to out to JC road to check on Helmet for him & also to buy a Bonjo bolt for his Oil cooler.
I bought & fixed Bosch twin electrode spark plug & will check if it does change anything over the conventional NGK spark plug..
Gixxer's Oil cooler thing is still pending as he needs to get hands on bonjon bolts & arrange things to install the cooler on to bike & he is taking it easy since he is not in a hurry..Life begins, once you hit the power band !!

You will only get old stock of GP One (you will never get a spare visor) at Big Bazaar or else local brands like Formulate. Better go to the same shop that we went&get a Studds Rhyno-it is real VFM at 1200 bucks.Originally posted by gixxer_junkie_m View PostDude ,today i went to the banjo bolt guy and unfortunately he had none that fit our rides. Then i went to couple of other spares stores recommended ,but there also none were available. So,now it's the lathe option for getting a double banjo bolt made.Today the lathe was closed,so now i'm hoping to get it done on the morrow. My R15 is up&running-smoke came out from the silencer pipe this morning due to the new paint, but everything else is fine.
I will use the Fiero as less as possible for the next couple of months before selling.Quench my thirst with gasoline!

Thanks dude,i was on the lookout for a fiberglass helmet and studds range doesn't have one.So as you predicted we(me and abhi)bought a Steelbird Bieffe SB10 GP1 helmet and like you mentioned got a fair bit off on it.http://www.steelbirdhelmet.com/blefee-sb-10if.html# Same color too as in the link.Originally posted by Sarvajit View PostYou will only get old stock of GP One (you will never get a spare visor) at Big Bazaar or else local brands like Formulate. Yam looks nice and i love the rim color. But i think it would have looked even better if it had a copper tinge like the R1 special edition.Originally posted by Sarvajit View PostNo pics since a long time...

R1's color is lighter. Copper tinge was too gaudy&this color is not available in powder coat.Originally posted by gixxer_junkie_m View PostYam looks nice and i love the rim color. But i think it would have looked even better if it had a copper tinge like the R1 special edition.
