He has a mental block or a kinda rev-limiter when it comes to bargaining for price!!
He never pays more than 2.2k for anything!!
About the spares,the hunt will be on.
Still, its the best price!
Waiting for updates on the spares.
&Yeah, send me pics of these limited edition SBKs too!

[QUOTE=Sarvajit;742707]Today i did go to Sri Ganesh TVS spares dealer,whose phone # i had given to you and they made me wait for the confirmation from the warehouse.But it was near closing time ,so they asked me to call em on the morrow.If they can't get it,or don't have it,there's another TVS dealer who's bound to have it.Yesterday me and Abhi had gone to Ashwa TVS and they didn't have it.These spares dealers will source it.So don't sweat on it.Originally posted by gixxer_junkie_m View Post@Sarvajit

You'd better ask Abhi to take the pics of SBk's ,or of their chassis
He has the ability to take the public beating which'll come after doing so!!
Maybe he can wriggle his way out by quoting the difference between mass "production" models and the exotic SBK's ,or the benefits of having a good chassis!

No dude, nothing compared to Bangalore/Pune-last weekend I saw some of the best local&international models with bikini/naked fairing.Originally posted by abhilashabhi12 View PostDude, Is Hyd not having any SBKs

Hyd SBKs are fully faired almost all the time&the RRs are out of reach as always!
Wide chassis don't appeal if the overall design, headlights, indicators etc. don't gel well.Quench my thirst with gasoline!

Yup they sure are sight for sore eyes!!
where did you see em? When we say wide,high revving chassis ,picture neha dhupia/Ava Rose/Sridevi/Rathi Agnihotri. Especially a SBK with a narrow middle like Rati.Otherwise,if you're stuck up on stats/numbers,how'd 36-22-38 sound? The above are all RR spec'd SBK's and neha more for her chassis.What say?Originally posted by Sarvajit View PostNo dude, nothing compared to Bangalore/Pune-last weekend I saw some of the best local&international models with bikini/naked fairing.

I'm sure Psr has had some interaction with one of those.
@All
The oil-cooler's connected and running once again.Since the mech has shredded the banjo bolt's thread of the clutch cover(stock bolt is short and has no issues),it's got the stock bolt there and another double banjo which i had gotten custom made has been used to fit the oil-cooler's outlet to the engine-head.Pics will come after i've given her a wash.
PS: Forgot to mention illeana
probably the best SBK chassis around today?

Great to know your oil cooler is on line again....Always look for SBKs with Handle bars,otherwise you will have nothing to hold on to...

@PSR
Yup she's all chassis with nothing much to hold on to at the front.
That's why i believe the saying" they don't make em like that anymore" holds good here too.Take sri and rati. for ex

I have bought a meter of hydraulic hose rated for 13 bar and 230 psi.The cost was 150 bucks and i want to replace the current hose with this.But i'm more inclined to leave it as it is for now,because when for the first time the oil-cooler was installed with the pulsar hoses,it had no issues and only when i asked the mech to put new hoses did he shred the threads.So now the stock bolt has been fitted as explained before to the shredded thread area and it's holding good as it's of shorter thread-reach in length.The other alternative i'm thinking of is to put a metal spring around the current hose,or any other suggestions?Life begins, once you hit the power band !!

I presume there are no issues with your present hose.No need to change the hose if there are no issues...the end crimping is always a bother,or you have to use good "C" clamps to tighten...under normal usage these hoses hold up well..When Was The Last Time,You Did Something For The First Time.

to trouble us
At least i'm thankful that they were discovered ,as beauty lies in the eyes of the beholder and the guys who discovered them certainly had an eye for beauty!
At least,even today we get to see em when they were at their peak,don't we?The real lucky buggers were those who got to ride em(in their peak)!!

The present hose is ok,it's a cheap transparent one ,used to check how good the oil flow is and as to how a air lock holds some oil in the cooler when the engine's left switched off for some duration.
The stock pulsar hoses were braided ones and had crimping.Now we've used c-clamps as it's easier to change hoses.Life begins, once you hit the power band !!

These days fairings and extra fittings give an appearance of a SBK but inside it is wimpy no good stuff,with extra fittings giving false hopes and ideas...I no longer trust the recent models..Not everyone who rides a SBK is lucky, I have heard of people needing stitches after session crashes,and put out of action for two to three weeks.Originally posted by gixxer_junkie_m View PostSBK's like that are there for that reason only right?

In case the present hose holds up without issues then it is ok...but in summer months there is bound to be problem,when it is better to change it with the hydraulic one.Last edited by psr; 12-08-2011, 06:20 PM.When Was The Last Time,You Did Something For The First Time.
