Thanks, it's actually the third... I've made a small walkaround video with startup.
    It's available here:

Yo Abhi! I'm still struggling for the gear part so I haven't got the rebuild started. I've sent a list of small spares needed to Anand. He said you both will be going to TVS soon. Please check for me while you're there.

A famous mech here named Rajesh was asking 5k for a ruined junkyard RTRhead,i tried at other places and found pretty much a new one for 2.5k!.The same mech asks for 3 days, for engine re-build and he had quoted 10k+ for it using a used clutch kit of the RTR without a used RTR head.So i went to another mech who has a modest garage and he did the entire engine re-build in 2 hours flat! I had taken the bike in the morning and we had opened up the fiero head to find out even the stock fiero silencer can be fitted with a additional gasket without any welding works for the bend pipe.Other than the closing of SAI points, there was nothing else to be done! Meaning, there weren't any modifications needed at all and in the evening i sat through the re-build.That's all it takes. His labor charges for the re-build was 400 bucks!! So you have to do some leg-work first, instead of throwing money at showrooms or fancy mechs.
            Hi Gixxer,

can you share the contact of the mechanic am servicing my Apache 160-fi from rajesh till now.
i also chose him because he was closely associated with zen, but things changed now he looks too busy and not taking small jobs.
Any opinions on Ashwa TVS need to tune the ECU settings(recently replaced Engine Temperature sensor).how much they might charge?
            I stay at srinivasa nagar.

            thanks,
            Raman

Firstly, sorry for the delay in replying bro.I know a mech in Ashwa TVS and his name's Shakti. You can go there and ask for him and he seems knowledgeable enough. The mech who i was referring to is Satish and his garage is behind PESIT.Since you stay nearby like me,i think you can go to him for engine related works etc. He's honest and knowledgeable at the same time. But since your bike's a FI,i don't think he'll be able to help with that much.So why don't you try DTW(Downtown works) of pacer yamaha?Downtown works as you might be aware of,is their service centre for bikes other than yamaha. For any other works,i'll be more than happy to take you to Satish and make an introduction.Satish's phone num is 9845042044.

                thanks a ton,
i didn't saw last posts..how is health now?
yesterday visited ashwa they are not servicing Fi bikes since they are not having software to tune Fi bikes. so today visted tristar(Domlur) and met with Lokesh who takes care of servicing.when we checked the port which connects to Diagnostic tool has been removed and some juggad has been done to install remote locking system.so lokesh suggested to check wiring in afternoon, if any thing can be done..

i will check with Downtown works (Satish bhojanna right?)in evening. my concern is without a probe/ port it will be difficult o diagnose Fi bikes.

I will finish this hurdle(tuning) first.. then we can meet satish to check any work need to be done on Engine..
                thanks,

I'm fine now thank you.ZEN TVS were the best bet for such works.Well that's now water under the bridge.Try and get it sorted ,if they can't help much with your bike in domlur, then give a try at DTW.Yes the same bhojanna, they should be able to help you.If even that comes to naught, then we can go to Mr Venugopal and get his suggestion as to how to go about things.

                    thanks Gixxer,
I just came from tristar, according to them nothing can be done unless replacing whole wiring system which costs 2k+ (that too need to wait for 15-20 days). i will visit DTW in evening and have a talk regarding what can be done.if that doesn't workout we can contact Mr. Venugopal as you said.
                    thanks for your support brother

What's needed is someone to wire the missing probe and you'll be done. What's the need for a new wiring harness? If it's not too modified, then the missing probe can be fitted, can't it?Try DTW and mention to them about trying and salvaging the current harness and working on it.Race dynamics are the pros when it comes to ECU etc here and if it comes to that they will do whatever is needed.Ask DTW about race dynamics option.

you got the right point wiring need to be done for missing probe with relevant socket those things dealerships/service centers don't do
I too had race dynamics as a final option in mind(thought as a costly affair)..
PFA pic. the diagnostic tool has 4 male pins..I think highlighted probe in yellow has been sliced.
I read in previous posts/threads that zen has got new dealership in RR nagar, they might work Fi bikes..
Sorry ignore second image don't know how to delete that one.

ZEN shakti TVS that is.Yes Mr Murthy had started it and it's been a while since due to unfortunate circumstances that they had to shut shop as well. I still remember Mr Murthy had sorted a Fi bike in ZEN TVS using donor parts from a p220Fi,back then, these two were the only bikes with fi.It really is unfortunate that he isn't operating these days, because he was someone who would never give up on any modification work and solve problems affectively.Just go to race dynamics and get a assessment as to what the options are and then take a call on it.They are costly, but your bike needs minor hardware works and it might not be a costly one and they are the right people for this.

today's rain spoiled the plan of visiting DTW. i will check with DTW tomorrow if they don't have solution for that means then i will go ahead with Race dynamics as you said.

                              hi gixxer,
visited to DTW in morning, their shop will be closed tomorrow due to deepavali festival.I spoke to person named Rajesh who looks very professional and suggested to drop bike on thursday, so that they can do complete check on wiring harness and what can be done.
I am also inclining towards your suggestion to check at Race dynamics as they are best in business when it comes Fi/ECU related works, but resist back that idea to check the workmanship of DTW.

                              Happy Deepavali in advance

Good to hear that bro. It's small enough a job and it really shouldn't be a big deal to those who know about fi bikes.Once the connectro/hardware is sorted out,it should be easy enough. If DTW can handle it,then fine, otherwise Race dynamics will be able to solve it for sure.Happy deepavali to you too!
