Sarvajit you got the right guy Gixxer for the job on Fiero. He will definitely help you with his "Hands on Experience", since he had converted his Fiero to 195cc,and has good knowledge of the bike.....Best of luck on your future Fiero Project.Originally posted by Sarvajit View Post

The fiero was my dream bike but couldnt get one at my time.Tomorrow i am planning to book a new bike either the rtr 180 or the p220.Still very confused
.
The rtr-180 because it has the same suzuki unit, all round performer and looks simple.Even though its not a fiero but it is a derivative. The p220 because of good performance, though reliability is an issue.
Ps-i am 5'-6" and weigh 92kg,so the rtr might look a bit out of propotion
Still very confused...Socha Toh Locha.

Go for the RTR180 you will be happy,it is, as you said a derivative of the fiero and it(engine, gearbox & chassis) has a proven record.Originally posted by velociraptor13 View Postbhandup, thats good as i stay in marol, andheri east and yes i would definitely come over to see the set up

Guys i think my bike needs RTR's IDI because of the rev-limiter in our CDI. Today i changed the main-jet to that of the ZMA ,main-jet size is 125, took her to a nice, scenic, lonely road and rode her for about 60 kms. She lost her inhibitions once out of city limits ,she started showing her very free revving nature and i kept on hitting the rev-limiter!!!!
I mean because of the bigger bore size in relation to the stroke, the twisting of the throttle makes her scream like crazy!!The problem is ,despite making the gearing taller, rev-limiter is coming in the way even before WOT(wide open throttle) and spoiling the party.I mean despite short shifting in first gear, i took her to 60 in second gear and there was still lot of action left .But sadly the rev-limiter kept cutting in like the proverbial "girl's father" and this pretty much was the story in the first 3 gears.

i rode for arr 40 kms and returned home now, i was hovering at arr 105 on the speedo and the throttle was just a mm more than the economy mode, the throttle was just half and bike was reaching 7.5k.
even i wanted to write the same thing now, damm i feel we should have had 2 more gears at least, by the way the bike pulls.
its drinking a lot of fuel, more than i expected, but i'll test the mileage soon and see how much it has decreased..Giving a lot to a fiero.

@Velociraptor : Go for the RTR180. Its the BIG brother to Fiero in all aspects.
