THis is a fantastic review, really loved it. As a owner of Xtreme i felt really good seeing the bike in flesh when i saw it on the road and the showroom before getting Leh'ed on my cbz.

Have loved the ZMR from the time it was launched,be it this one or the predecessor, the first time i saw it,it looked fugly, but when i saw it in the auto expo stunt zone,i was like,This piece of Art is really great when seen from your own eyes and the pics dont do the justice for its looks...

I m also thinking about upgrading from my Xtreme, but a little skepticle since that bike took me through the tuffest terrains of ladhakh and i have a inner connection with it...

The only reason I am never going to sell my Black Pearl (ZMR) out.. the inner connection/Love/chemistry or whatever they call it Me and My Black pearl have the connection that I never had with any of my other bikes The Trust Factor is something I love with my Bike been with me every time I needed..

Hello, i don't own this bike but today saw 2014 ZMA i must say a large step taken by hero motocorp. Really, I was impressed with the design of the bike and was looking like 600cc bike.

today i had the first service done of my new zmr and the bike feels even more butter smooth, the gear shifting could not be smoother and @rreneav1987 i asked the mechanic about your query regarding the new chain sprocket being able to fit on the old zmr and he said it is not possible because the company has done some changes to the gearbox also but i am not 100%sure i can vouch for his words...the advisor also talked me into getting Teflon coating on my bike and i did,and really the bike looks brand new now but will it do any harm to the body or paint in long term?

This isn't Teflon They just say it is Teflon coating.. are you sure they applied some chemical?? If they did, can you recollect the name of the chemical??

Applying Wax and then swiping it off will bring the shine to the bike buddy.. but Teflon coating is to protect the paint and that is a costly affair..

Nope!! They just wax your bike and apply some kind of a polish. It's a rip off followed by all service centers, regardless of the brand. I've experienced it.. Its Better to wash and wax the bike ourselves

Yes, That's the same reason I stopped getting the polish (so called Teflon) from ASC and started polishing it myself.. better

As far as I know there is no ratio change in sprocket and chain Except use of "O" ring chain. The Mechanic who went for training did not mention any change except Piston, and Cam and some tweaking in Fi and Carburetor...

If this is a case then can be setup in old ZMR...
