Naah! that's the same one, I went to the ASC to find out... they are having the hugger but the brackets are yet to come (same status since 2 weeks). I was supposed to call HMC to get the part asap but seeing these, I am pretty disappointed. I have waited the whole monsoon, cleaned the tail(left the exhaust dirty) section daily and water-washed every week. It's almost end of the season, I can bear 2-3 more weeks. After that, I'll reap the sexy rewards of the struggle I and my bike have endured - Damn! sexy nude mermaid tail until next monsoon. Meanwhile I'll figure out a better tyre hugger before the start of next monsoon

I think you should try to fit either p135's or p150's hugger as they look simple and better than karizma's huggers. I know both of these bike have 17 inches wheels and they are thinner in width too but I feel these huggers can be modified(some kinda jugaad) to accommodate ZMR's tires as both of the huggers are very simple(design wise) which means it will be easier to modify them.
P150's huggers is looking a lot wider than its tire.

Exactly!!.. NS's hugger has "PULSAR" engraved on it... I can try the p180 or 150's thing
Just a small tap from second gear would do!! From first gear just let go off the clutch slowly with little throttle and try finding neutral. But all this has to be done simultaneously!! Easier than the usual way.
Hello, Thank you guys for the quick reply. I asked the guys to come to my place and replace the bolt.. They did the same within 2 hours of me calling them. Also, as all have suggested i have given up finding neutral.. Its a little embarrasing at the signal when you keep trying and every other person is staring at you.. :P..
Also, we really need the tyre hugger in Bangalore.. It rains whenevr it wants.. I see all 4 weather conditions in a single day here.. :P ..
Another thing was the crash guard.. When i asked the dealer, he said they have come up with the crash guard but its out of stock nd would take 15 days for them to get new stock. Anyone has any idea about this ?

Crash guard for KARIZMA ZMR... Are u serious? Did the ASC guy understand what u wanted?
This cannot be fitted to a full faired bike.. I am not sure if this is what he wants. there are different type of crash guards for full faired and I don't think we have it available in India.. if available, I am not sure about the cost.. I have seen in R15 before..
Splendor - 2k to 2006
Karizma - 2k3 to 2009
P180 - 2k6 to 2k9
Hunk - Oct 2k7 til now
ZMR - 2010 to Forever
RX135(2k) - 2013 to 2018
Ninja 250R (2010) - 2016 til now
RayZ - 2015 til now
Ninja 650 (2014) - 2017 til now
Exactly, full faired bikes have rod like thing poking out with rubber end. I don't remember what it is called. Plus, I don't see them protecting the leg/knee.. It just for protection of the fairing hence mostly come for superbikes. I saw it on a busa.
Wear knee guard if u want protection. I am planning to buy that soft padded one which u can wear inside the pants, for my daily 60+ km commuting.
Hi Iam new to XBHP. A month ago I owned a new Red Karizma ZMR 2014 model and I am very much impressed with its performance.
I have completed 1600 kms and yet to give for second free service.
I need a small info..
I am planing to go for a ride around 600 kms, is it fine to go for long ride before second service.
Will it effect its performance ?

if you are referring to frame slider, then it is bit difficult to install in ZMR due to its simple frame construction. But for that matter of protecting fairing, ZMR has sliders on both end of handlebar....!!!!

@srikanth kvnap @dineshaugustin @rreneav1987, yup i was referring to the frame sliders when i went to the dealer. But to my surprise/shock as well, he very clearly said that they have a crash guard made for the ZMR. I will call him again and confirm this. I guess frame sliders are not possible as Dinesh mentioned. Also, Dinesh are you referring to the bar end weights? The fairing would break if the handle turns and the bike falls, which happens in most cases.

is it so...?? in V1 it protects the fairing....!! so i presumed in V2 also.!!
but anyhow, crash guard in a faired bike wont look good. but if iam not wrong, the handle bar itself acts as a crash guard in ZMR to some extent.
they would never neglect this safety issue while designing a bike, especially HERO.

Point1: V2's handle bar protrudes out more than V1.
Point2: The fairing is slimmer than V1, so.. It would be saved easily
Ponit 3: So, Knees in danger... Have to deal with it in any other way.
And I still can't believe about the crash guard thing. These ASC guys don't know what they are talking... Happened to me many times.
