P.S - now a days i fold my mirrors so that they don't break away . ((little story - i was crusing at 123-125 kmph in my bike along with my fellow ktm , einfield riders on kalyani express way .... a blue pulsar 220f came from the wrong direction and hit my mirror so hard that it got shattered , took revenge - turned back with my riders stop the fellow who was intoxicated along with his friend (no helmet on both of them) , he pushed me by saying " why the !@#@ you stooped us " started a fist fight - i loosed my anger punched and kicked him hard , took his wallet and his driving licence and went away ... i gave my number to his friend so that he can take his licence back ... after 13 days his father called me - told me he was sorry about his son behaviour , i asked him to pay the damage , the guy came with me to the hero svc paid the damage of my mirror gave him his licence and he took a oath never to drink and drive by his attitude of being a well being boy i forgave him ... now he is one of our members )) .... So this is the reason I want a bar-end mirror .... and NO BLOOD WAS LOST DURING THE FIGHT ....
Not a good idea and everything you did is incorrect in my opinion.. Road Rage is never good.. What if those guys had a knife or gun?that too for hardy 200 odd rupees worth mirrors..

the Bar End mirrors are of no use.. they might look cool and stuff.. but trust me.. these mirrors will easily get hit in traffic and your maneuverability in traffic will take a huge hit.. get used to the stock mirrors.. instead of changing the mirrors, i would suggest you to change your riding style.. safer for you and for the other innocent people on the roads

I know it's not about the time you are saving in zig zag but you like the adrenaline rush of doing it, but that not only creates trouble for others but also can be fatal for you especially if you are cutting past a heavy vehicle as you might have a wonder full disk brake system but these may not.

It's CARizma bro.. the sedan of bikes.. Treat it like one, feel it like one... start early and take a longer route with sparse traffic. Ride 5kmph lesser than speed you think you can handle. Hear a song or just humm it.. Live the ride, each second.
The extra miles you rode today will make you love your life and free you of all the tensions. Trust me, Karizma twins are made for this feel...

Ok I got it I promise I wont ride like a hooligan . Secondly I made a decision I will ride Karizma on my weekend tours of 100-200 KM . Mainly from now I will ride my Hero Maestro scooter because during commuting I really get tired when I ride my Beast but in my Chota Beti (Scooter) I never feel tired . So guys I have a moment changing question:-

        1. Should I ride my beast only on weekend tours of 100-200 km / can be sometimes be 300 KM - during EVERY -> Saturday or Sunday ?
        2. Or should I ride my beast during the traffic / daily commuting .
        3. I reaalllly love my chota beti because the scooter is the best during commuting - i can fit my college bags or helmet in the under-seat storage , no gearing just start and go , in kolkata we have now a days long line of traffic for that reason the scooter seems to be perfect , and during doing grocery shopping it can hold many bags .
        4. I am really confused - Karizma for touring or for commuting ?
        5. I am again confused - Maestro for commuting or sitting in garage(period) .

I love them both but please I need little suggestion . Secondly above all my car Maruti Celerio - kya bolu saab ka baap hain - no problem can go for commuting , touring , weekend ride , even can go to big baazar - BUT NO DRIVING LICENCE (4 wheeler)/I have 2 wheeler driving licence .

        Guys , need suggestion ...

P.S - ( UNDERGOING TREATMENT FOR MY HUGE CRASH ON MY PULSAR RS200 ON DURGAPUR EXPRESSWAY , BIKE HAVE GONE FOR REPAIR , 76% RECOVERED - MY BODY - SORRY GOT MY LESSON - ZIG ZAG STYLE AND HIGH SPEED RIDING - SPEED WAS 142 KMPH - CRASH WITH A AUDI )..

          Thanks for your suggestion .
U must thank GOD for escaping from such horrible crash. Hope u r fine and will ride sensibly hereafter.

regarding bikes, it purely based on your convenience. ZMR is a practical bike and can handle daily commuting also. but at the end its purely based on which one u feel more comfortable.

Besides u never mentioned your plan with RS200 :P

True, Karizma R/ZMR 2014 model has been discontinued since quite some time (obviously due to shamefully low sales numbers & mechanical issues)

Spares availability (especially body parts specific to 2014 model) are extremely tough to get. Other vital mechanical parts such as 2014 model Karizma rockers, camshaft, piston are too not available.

Please don't! For now. Production is halted and the dealers may push you some discounts as well. But better wait 6 months and get the fresh product that would hit the roads by then.

                      Fazzar, Karishma?
                      Dude!!!

Well, there's no comparison between the two, but if your mind was between these 2, then under present circumstances; Fazer v2 would be the correct choice.

I can give you a few options like Gixxer (SF), AS 200 etc but it would be wise that you open a thread in 'What Bike' section so that more forum members get to help you out.

Y faired bike? Ask yourself. If only "looks" is the answer, check the cons of a faired bike and then decide.

                              Greetings fellow owners,
So I bought the zmr around 1st week July 2014 and have clocked around 6000 kms.I'm still a bike enthusiast in college with very basic knowledge. I've been more than happy with the bike. I cruise around on trips around the city as well as within. Mostly keep the bike between speeds of 50 to 70s with rev range of 3500 to 5500.I read this amazing review and went through the replies on the forum up-to page 45. Now it's really nice to see all things put forward by owners across the country. I'll be very much interested if I could get a Final word on the following things
                              1. What's the final status on the rear mud guard's availablity in Mumbai and pune area? Any specific place where I can get it done?
                              2. I've completed my free services and from the next time intend on taking it to the same authorised service centre ( singh service centre in pine). Any advice on the things to look for and get specifically checked by them. ? Also what oil should I get? And is the prescribed service schedule good(the one given at the end of the manual) or should I get it done at sooner intervals?
                              3. I have a LS2 helmet and a good set of gloves. Do I need to get some things more in terms of riding gear? I do a lot of city riding and about once a month of 200+ km rides to around places.
                              4. I've felt that there's a certain vibration of the engine which increases with increase in revs. Is it just me or other zmr owners feel it too? Is it normal? What Can be done about it if its not normal?

I'd really appreciate replies on the above and try to post a few pics of the bike too as soon as possible
                              Thanks for the interest.
                              Happy biking
