Same here. Not able to figure out. Although the issue was brought to notice during all previous services, it was duly ignored by the svc. No answer no explanation. Just shrugging of shoulders.

The "jerking" and "breathlessness" seems to occur during sudden increase in throttle i.e., in situations like overtaking etc.

Only solution so far found, is properly warming up the engine (say at least 3 minutes) and opening the throttle gradually and letting the bike attain speeds gradually. Of course, avoiding situations which require sudden throttling.

From my experience, most jerking issues and rpm shooting up is due to carb. Wrong afr, vacuum leaks, clogged air filter, carb needle position, carb float position, etc are some common problems for jerking. Jerking can also be caused by spark plugs. Check the spark plug colour to see if afr is ok. Rpm shoot up can be accelerator cable or vacuum leak. See if the accelerator movement is smooth without notchiness. If it's smooth, cables are good. Also check accelerator play. A tight cable can shoot up rpm when handlebar is turned.

I want to install Philips 60/55w headlight bulb. As I don't want to put load on wiring, I'm thinking of using a relay for Hi/Lo beam on single bulb. For this, I assume two SPST relays, but a single DPST will do the job as internally it's dual SPST.
Kindly suggest the type of relay & schematic.

Is it damaged by accident? Or is it just an issue of fixing the pedal position? I would suggest you to take it to the service centre and let them handle it. If the pedal is bent due to accidental damage, the whole mechanical assembly would have to be checked to make sure there are no functional issues. don't take risk.

No. Buy your bike's oil filter. There no guarantee that other oil filters would fit.

All the Suzuki in India that has a removable oil filter - the spare part number is the same. Only Let's scooter has a longer and different oil filter and it has a different part number. If you walk into a Suzuki Showroom (parts section) for an oil filter, they will ask you "Let's or others?".

Am currently using Apache's oil filter - it is the same millimeter to millimeter, perhaps because its engine was largely based on the Fiero (Designed by Suzuki).

Bosch makes oil filters for GN125/Heat/Access/GS150 that are available in some auto part stores.

But, as DS told, always buy SGP (Suzuki Genuine Part) oil filter - they are either from Elofic or Purolator supplied to Suzuki and are easily available from the spares section of your showroom. Replace small and big o-rings of the oil filter compartment when you change it.

                        Yep !it was accident.
Had been to the service centre to get the bent removed but, they could only do it to a very small margin, the break pedal is still above the footpeg level and now they are stating its same in all the gixxer's but, I can easily feel the difference.😐

Can you share a photo of the pedal from the side?
It might give us a better idea about the bent lever.

Yes, it's about 5-100 up in comparison stock lever level. It can be frustrating and pain with improper brake-pedal-offset.

Can you check if there is bolt that pushes brake-pedal down near foot-rest-area; most motorcycles have that bolt to adjust the brake-pedal-offset.

PS: You may have to adjust the rear-drum-brake-adjust-nut accordingly.
