Just take it easy for the first 1k-2k kms, thats all the advice i can give.

Your tyre will losr a bit of pressure after running. Just get the alloys checked whether thay are bent or not. But more often than not, it could just be paranoia
Thanks bro. I'm about 1800kms and this problem has been showing since the begining. I once got it checked for puncture but that wasn't the case. The wheel doesn't wobble or jerk, so I don't think the rim is bent.
Whatever may be the case, since its just a matter of few psi's in a week or so, I am going to let it go and see if it gets amplified.
The sense of freedom these two wheels give can never be matched by anything else...

Avinash in case you're loosing air pressure I would suggest that you can get nitrogen filled they last longer than normal air tires feel lighter and a increased mileage is claimed too

Good to hear. Also wobble or jerk means its quite severe, which isnt the case. A slight bend in the rims can cause sometimes the tire to feel flat. Just get the rims checked at the SVC if you continue to feel it.
If they 'okay', you can then rest easy knowing its all in your mind

            Congratz!

Must be an awesome feeling to ride the bike in that range, already crossed 4.5k RPm a couple times now, but reined it back in through a tremedous force of will

Hi folks, Gixxer manual says 10w40 should be used , so which oil is best for Run-in period and where can i get it in Secunderabad ? Some say only Synthetic is available at that grade, but Mineral oil is required for Run-in .. right ?

True. For the run-in period, use mineral oil. It offers some amount of friction that aids in the mating process of the engine parts. After run-in, i.e. After your 1st servicing, use Motul (Specially made for Gixxer) 10w40 engine oil.

As far as I know, the showroom people will put mineral oil before delivery.

Stick to stock oil (the one you get at SVC) till your warranty period. AFAIK, Gixxer comes filled with Mineral Oil from factory istself.

                    Cheerz!!

White is a little uncommon. So, looks a bit exclusive. Congrats!

You see things vacationing on a motorcycle in a way that is completely different from any other. In a car you're always in a compartment, and because you're used to it you don't realize that through that car window everything you see is just more TV. You're a passive observer and it is all moving by you boringly in a frame. ~Robert Pirsig

                                Congratulations Anil!

The white does indeed look striking, probably owing to its uncommon nature. Looks amazing. The 'gixxer' truly is a looker.

Also, i dont know who posted this before, but i have to agree with them. This bike seriously deserved a 6th gear. The number of times ive kept upshifting only to find the bike is not going into a higher gear?..and then look down and see iam already at 5th is lost. That too, in only 210kms of riding i feel this. Its brilliant. Lost oppurtunity methinks.

Also,i really love the play on the front brake lever, and the feedback they give, it just inspires soo much of confidence in the rider.

Also, the bike grunts so beautifully at lower RPM's, that you really dont feel you are hurting the engine by pulling from lower speeds in a higher gear!! Brilliant! Probably because its soo torquey.

That's all the feed back i have on my machine, apart from the usual, the gear shifting has become a bit tough...have to wait till 1st service!!! Cant wait to go past 4.5k RPM!!!

                                Cheers!!!
