The SVC has got a new synthetic oil from Idemitsu. You can try that.
Or if you want to go for SS oil then try Shell Advance AX7
If you want FS oil then try Motul 7100 4T 10W-40

During first service svc said they fixed the self start but now again during rains have the problem.. Planning to ask them to replace it.. At high rpm 75+ kmph i feel slight vibes on right foot peg and brake.. Idling at 1500-1750 now.. Is this fine?

Some claim oil from Idemitsu is mineral not synthetic, and you have mentioned it is synthetic, is it synthetic or mineral?

Going by the price Rs 390/- Idemitsu 10w40 is semi-synth, like Shell AX7 10w40 Rs 400+. 5-10% of synthetics mixed in.

Both of them are not JASO certified, meaning customer is in blind-spot. I wouldn't buy that Idemitsu or Shell AX7. That's my way of discouraging non JASO certified oils, watch how I spend my money.

Get the self start replaced if you feel the problem is reoccurring.
Which gear were you in while riding at 75 km/h? In 5th gear the rpm is around 5.5k which is not very high. If on 4th gear at 75 km/h then the bike is likely to vibrate as the rpm would be greater than 6.5k in 4th gear. Nonetheless, if you feel that earlier there were no vibrations at that speed & rpm & now they have crept in, you can highlight this issue to the SVC. Even I feel some vibrations at 3.5 to 4.5k & showed this to the SVC but they couldn't notice any. Anyways, they are not much & I can live with it.
As per owners manual engine idling speed should be between 1.4 to 1.8 k rpm when warmed up. So your idling speed is fine.

Today I went to a place near indore called kheri ghat for a morning ride. It is a place on the banks of river narmada, occurs on the way to omkareshwar from indore. Some part of the way is ghats where the bike held pretty well, had some cornering fun as well. I touched approx 110-115 on straight roads where the road was good. Had an awesome experience. Posting some photos as well.

                    Hi

Yesterday i bought the Idemitsu SS oil & oil filter from suzuki service centre. The service guy told that henceforth Idemitsu will be used in all gixxer's & suzuki had problem with motul i think. So all the service centres are emptying their stocks.

As you said it is not JASO certified. No it is JASO certified. Kindly look at the back of the oil can.

                      You mean this pointer?
                      • It is SAE 10w40 Viscosity Oil and meets API SL specifications & JASO MA requirements.

It's already shared what a JASO certified oil can looks like :

Could you please try getting some info from the service guys on what the problem with the Motul oil was? I have two extra canisters lying around at home, and my experience with the oil has been positive, but I wouldn't mind discarding them if there's a real problem with their performance on my Gixxer.

Also, there's a slight difference between JASO MA certification on the Idemitsu and MA2 certification on the Motul. From what I've read, MA2 oils are better suited for exhaust systems with catalytic converters. MA oils have a higher percentage of phosphorus and zinc in them than MA2 oils, which is ironically the same compounds that are found in after-market engine oil additives - like the 3M one that my service center keeps pushing on all customers.

Read the bottle it says it meets the requirements and no where it says certified. Nice play with the words. Shouldn't we write to Suzuki then?

Irrespective of whether it merely meets the JASO MA requirements, as tested by Idemitsu in its own lab, or is certified by JASO to be complaint with their MA standards, the difference between MA and MA2 is also a significant one. I would always prefer to have a JASO MA2 certified oil in my bike.

Instead of wasting Rs.390 on unknown brands I'll rather put my money on Trusted Motul oils.

I own a black gixxer from 5 months. After the second service i've witnessed noticeable changes in my bike. Self start bugs me alot and i no longer hear that awesome bassy sound when riding, when i put forth all these issues to SVC they say my bike is alright as if they don't want to pay heed to my issues.

Any suggestions on good looking fibre engine guard to make it look more sportier??
