Re: Suzuki Gixxer 155
Yes. Why not? Two clicks down and you are in second. But engine will rev up if not done in proper speed.Originally posted by emm View PostAll motorcycles are equipped with sequential gearboxes, so you really can't jump gears(unlike cars) but have to go sequentially one by one. So don't try to put too much pressure on the gearbox to jump from 4th directly to 2nd. It can't go.

[QUOTE=Navk;1276841]Reach out to Eyarkai arasu, the dealer representative at svc. You'll get your problems attended promptly. Most supervisors who log your bike for service appointment are not that great in showing a keen interest to log your complaints during svc.Originally posted by Navk View PostI have done 2 free services for my gixxer at jains Suzuki, pallavaram, but the service is not satisfactory 🙁, any one suggest me a good SVC @ Chennai?

Re: Suzuki Gixxer 155
Made-in-India Gixxer 155 that is exported to Japan has:
-AHO
-Fi
-Kickstarter removed and the hole dummied
-Switch on sidestand assembly - since I couldn't see any warning on the console, may be its a starter motor safety cut-out switch just like in Yamahas.
-And its also a *blue* one with rear disc.

Re: Suzuki Gixxer 155
Hi I am from Chennai. I am planning to buy a good looking 150cc bike. Purpose: Daily commuting 45 kms in city. Went through all the reviews and after eliminating hornet , I made my mind to go for GIXXER. I went to Suzuki showroom to enquire about availability of the bike. The Suzuki persons told that the dual tone Gixxer is no more in production.. and they told BS IV Gixxer is coming in march. But I'm planning to get the bike next week. Pls suggest whether I should wait or go for mono tone Gixxer now itself?

Re: Suzuki Gixxer 155
They're right. They've launched the BS4 models with AHO and different paintjobs. I suggest you wait and buy the BS4 model unless you don't like the new paint schemes.Originally posted by VinothG View PostHi I am from Chennai. I am planning to buy a good looking 150cc bike.
