10000km update tire changed to Michelin strret pilot radial @ 9500

So my RC completed 10200 km, i use her for daily commute and long trips.
Recently completed 550 km one day trip on her in 11 hours(including lunch breakfast and other breaks).
So yes she is a hoot to ride. Rips apart the ghats and eats up straight in a jiffy.

So this post is about the Michelins vs Metzelers.
I still have metz front tire and michelin rear

Michelins weigh almost twice as much as Metzis.
Michelins have deeper grooves in the middle while metzies have more on the sides.
In city riding cutting and dicing traffic is equivalent on both the tires.
However on ghats the story is a bit different.

Stright line stability is almost equivalent.
However while doing High speed cuts and Sweeping turns Michelins tend to be a bit sloppier,
On highways I had to do a bit more correction while doing overtaking and cutting back to my lane.
Here are a couple of pics of Michelins after riding to hogenekkal ghat via anchetty

          Hey guys,

          Few updates

          1. Motul 300V oil, I changed the oil and oil filter before this Sundays track day, and I must say, was thoroughly disappointed by the oil, my engine felt more stressed past 10k rpm than it ever had.

          2. Piggyback remap and K&N KT1211 air filter have made the bike a monster. Really really worth the money, can pull cleanly to my set rpm and also I would suggest going up one tooth in the rear sprocket and also putting sorter pegs from an R15 or conti GT.

Hey bro no I wasn't taking it with my phone it's a GoPro attached and I was making a video this is just a screengrab from the video.

Btw no that's not a SOL helmet it's an Icon Alliance helmet with a scale rider attached to it.

SOL helmets are not DOT European safety mark . As my secondary bike is a BMW the Indian helmets cant withstand speeds more than 200kph. Thus I only go for European helmets.

                        HI there.
Loved your take on the tires.
I have myself seen the stock metzs dancing like crazy in even a small slush whenever i visit my native village. So i have this concern in my mind that if i wish to plan a week long or so getaway in the mountains, where a lot of good tarmac would be invariably accompanied with some offroading, slush or broken roads, what should i do.

My odo is about 3000 so cant totally replace the tires. Hence i am thinking of buying a pair of adventure tires for RC which i can use during the trip and whenever next i wish to wander in the wild.
What would you guys suggest as to my two specific queries.
                        1. Which tire set would serve this purpose.
                        2. Keeping and changing the spare set: does the quality of the stocked tires at home deteriorates with time and whether changing the tires frequently would affect the overall quality of air packing over the rims.

One more thing that i forgot to ask. Any good/safe helmet able to keep noises away at 120 kmph and above reasonably for long rides. I see LS2 and MT but user experience in this regard and suggestion would be appreciated.

I know a lot of the RC owners have big issues with the RVM's being useless. But i took mine to the SVC today and they showed me how they were fully adjustable vertically and horizontally, and now i can clearly see traffic with both RVM's. This one is just for those who dont know yet. For tilting the RVM's vertically, you just have to keep rotating them counterclockwise so that the space between the RVM bottom and the pivot point increases and then you can adjust the RVM to see traffic clearly. Hope it helps!

If you don't ride in the rain, you don't ride.
